Waiting for no one. [Any lonely people out there?]

Thankful for such a lovely weekend, Iris decided to wander off again around the castle after she finished everything about school work and feeding Vee. She decided to go to one place she have rarely been. The clock tower was one listed. And she was looking forward to that. She dressed up warmly since the cold weather seemed still to be staying and left her pet sleeping soundly on top of a bare carpet beside the fireplace way back from the common room. Some of her clothes given to her during the holidays were still left unpacked, tucked underneath her luggage, and maybe perhaps it was the time to give them at least a try. Even if the others were not really suitable for her taste. She can manage to strategize with the whole lot.

Iris headed for the destination with a neutral mood of hers, and got caught up with the boring breeze of the chilling wind. She took the flight of the steep stairway up to the great clock, rubbing her hands to consume some heat, and sighed with relief that it was deserted. She exhaled, exposing the mist from her mouth and stared out of the view. She can clearly see the courtyard below with students passing, and the rest of the land farther away, stretching for miles and miles.

OUTFIT!

This was Iris' first visit to the Clock Tower. She had heard a lot about the place but never found reason to go take a look. But feeling bored, she decided to go to a place she had never been to. Though, the Clock Tower wasn't her first choice. As she reached up the stairs, she stopped for a moment to admire the view and sighed with a sort of dreamy smile. If only life were this simple and beautiful.

She walked further and saw someone else standing there. She grinned when she noticed that it was Eye. "Hey there," she greeted her friend with a hug. "What's up? Feeling bored like me?" She asked with a laugh.

Iris turned for the familiar voice of her favorite Gryffindor friend and smiled at her softly, showing that today her side was the calmer one. Or for worse, the boring one. She was indeed bored. Having nothing to do but to wander like a loner. Which she's really not.

"Yeah. Bored. That's it. The weather has something to do with it."

She replied with a laugh and continued to gaze out of the huge glass window, ignoring the ticking sounds of the clock. Rather loud sounds she did not notice.

"Is it just me or do you seem as though something bad happened?" Iris asked Eye, her eyebrow raised. She knew she probably shouldn't question like that but a direct approach was how she knew to show her concern. She had no idea how to beat around the bush and pretend to be sweet and nice.


"The weather and the view are so amazing today." She commented, turning once more to admire the beauty. This was something she couldn't witness when she ran away from her many homes lots of times. As usual, she was proud to have been able to be a part of Hogwarts.

"Yeah. I know. Good thing I though about coming here. I actually made a list about the places I've rarely been. And this one's on top."

Iris replied to Grayson and smiled shyly, disturbed that her friend had noticed her mood for today. She had to admit. She was not jolly unlike the yesterday. Blame it to something that had happened during her favorite subject. She needed to spill the confession. Surely, her Gryffindor friend would understand. Or at least control her reaction and try her best of get the problem.

"Do you promise not to tell?" She asked cautiously, looking around as to see the coast is clear for any eavesdroppers.

Pixie was rather bored and decided to go up to the clock tower. She wanted to see her brothers. She missed them. They left last year and she was rather lonely. She always had them near her so it was rather lonely.

Walking up to the clock tower, Pixie heard two people talking. She walked in and saw a Slytherin and a Gryffindor.

"Hello," Pixie said walking in. She hoped she wasn't inturpting anything.

Iris trailed off with her question and turned to look at the girl who just came. She smiled at her shyly, showing that even though she did quite bothered the moment, the Slytherin was having no problem at all with welcoming a stranger into a place she did not even own in the first place. She had to be nice. She would never scare or hurt her away. That meant being rude. Still, she always wanted to meet a new friend. Besides, the Gryffindor seemed nice. They often do.

"Hello. Sure. No problem. So, what's up? It's rather a boring day. And I just decided to be here to pass the time." Said Iris kindly and gestured for the girl to join them.

Iris was about to reply when she saw another student approach them. "Hey there! I'm Iris and this is my friend, also Iris." She greeted the girl and laughed like she always did when someone new met her or Eye for the first time. "So, what brings you here?" She asked the Gryffindor with a grin.

She couldn't help but cast a worried glance in Eye's direction. Something really bad must have happened, she sensed if Eye seemed to be really glum about it. Well, she'd just have to pester her about it later then.

"Hmm. Oh nothing really. Just thinking and needed to get away. So its Iris and Iris? Cool," Pixie said still a little distracted.

"Hey, are you alright?" Pixie asked noticed the glance the two girls shared.

Iris lost track of the conversation and shook her head, remembering where she was left out. She smiled forcefully, wanting to show them that she's still sort of fine. That she can smile all the way. Even though she had something she dreaded to tell. She can confess later on. When she gets her friend alone. Or most of her close friends.

"Oh, I'm fine! The weather's kinda making me gloomy. And I hate it." Said Iris as she laughed softly and continued on with the subject, looking at the Gryffindor Iris,

"I'm baptized as Eye. And she's Grayson. I call her by the last name. We always get a hold of explaining this thing. On and on. We're used to it by now. Right, Grayson?

[[OOC: Oh sure! Iris will be drunk soon because of her problem. And that's her first ever time. I'll post it maybe tomorrow. She's gonna cause some trouble at the Entrance Hall at midnight. ]]

Iris grinned at Pixie. "Yup! Introducing ourselves almost seems like breathing now." She joked and laughed lightly. "Gets more confusing for the teachers though. So they just call us Gryffindor Iris and Slytherin Iris. Luckily we aren't in the same house."

"Isn't the view beautiful?" She asked her fellow Gryffindor, her eyes gazing through the window.

She almost wanted to tell Eye, 'If you think you're fooling me with that smile, you clearly don't know me.' But she knew she couldn't push her friend to tell.

Pixie noticed the looks the two shared. "If you were talking about something important then I can leave. It's alright." I can go hang out some where else for a while. Its no problem"

"Oh no! We don't want you to leave. I reckon we'll just figure something else later. Meeting new friends seems kinda rare to find. So we wouldn't want someone to lose. Right, Grayson? And besides, I really need some companions on this day. I'm sorta being too emotional and moody lately." Iris said shyly and shrugged, hoping that the girl would get what she even meant. If that was what she did meant.

The Slytherin gazed outside of the enormous window with half of her mind and consciousness bearing within. Turning her back away from the small number of crowd, she sat on the cold ground quite awkwardly. As though she was some robotic figure or something, staring at the view ahead of her and clearly not herself. She folded her arms around her raise knees, still lost in thought, and sighed exasperatedly. She hummed a tune of hers to ease the distress away, acting all jolly and began to speak her words out from her tightened mouth,

"I am acting really weird this week. Hope you understand. I'm kind of confused about myself right now. Probably like those depressing issues you can get anywhere." addressed Iris to the two girls and continued on with her humming while swaying her petite body slowly. In rhythm with the cool wind.
