Personality:
Matthew is standoffish when he first meets someone he has been through to much to trust anyone on the first meeting. He has some major abandonment issues since his mother decided to give him up at age 12. He tends to pull himself away from people who care and are trying to help him for he is afraid that they will walk out of his life as quickly as they entered it.

Matthew tends to bottle up his feelings then let them show. Which leads to random outbursts of anger when things just get to much. He rarely means what he says in these outbursts. He feels really sorry afterwards and will tend to apologize over and over again.

Overall history:
Matthew spent his first year at Hogwarts where he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He was doing rather well in school until his mother Lydia started seeing someone his grades began to drop as she spent even less time with him when he was on break. Matthew stared acting up trying to get the attention of his mother because he wanted nothing more but to be loved.

At the end of his first year at Hogwarts His mother called up Sacha Rusnak Matt's father asking him to take Matt off her hands because she was planning on getting married and didn't want to have Matt in the way. This caused Matt to close out people who tried to enter his life. It took several months for him to call Sacha dad but even then he was still closed off to the idea of having a dad that he didn't even know existed for the first twelve years of his life.

Matthew was transfered to Durmstrang where he was sorted into Hitrost at the start of his second year. He then met the Moon sisters and began dating Stella. The relationship between them however began to dwindle as he started to try and pull himself away from her. He wanted to be loved but didn't know how to show it to others so he just tried to himself apart from everyone never letting anyone too close to him.

At the beginning of summer Matthew was told that his father was getting married. This caused Matt to wonder if he was going to be given up again however Sacha assured Matt that he wasn't going to be given up. Matt didn't believe this and tried to take his own life. However Alise found him and was the one who saved him for she caught him in time. Though it was almost too late.

At the start of his third year Matt met Mystical Dream they started hanging out in the library and he started to develop feelings for her. Matt found himself getting distracted by what to do with Stella and Mystical that he ended up failing all his classes thus getting himself grounded for the summer and having to spend it with tutors. At one point he snuck out however and got a skull and crossbones tattoo and a lip piercing.
