Of Dementors And Midnight Strolls (Open)

Blaire walked along the edge of the forbidden forest, hands in the pocket of her cloak, which was wrapped tightly around her. Blaire hadn't been able to sleep, so she decided to go on a walk around the school grounds. Already, she had been by the hut that had belonged to the school's gamekeeper, Hagrid, when she went to Hogwarts, and by the lake, which was eerily still.

When Blaire was well beyond the hut, it suddenly got a lot colder. Hugging the clock tighter around her, Blaire continued walking. It wasn't until about 3 minutes later that she looked up, only to find about a dozen dementors floating a few feet into the forest, steadily coming towards her. Before they got any closer, she quickly withdrew her wand from inside her cloak.

"Expecto Patronum!" Blaire shouted, pointing her wand at the dementors. She watched as the silver fox burst from the tip of her wand and pounce at the cloaked figures. The fox scared off about half of the dementors, but the others were still gliding forward. Before she could even react much, another silvery form came running up from behind her, effectively scaring off the others. Breathing a sigh of relief, Blaire turned around to see who it was that cast the patronus charm.
