"What?" His eyes widened, leaning forward as he blinked owlishly at Lisette. "You mean the world doesn't revolve around me?" Crossing his arms, he shook his head, "That's nuts."

"Well," Noah said with false modesty of his own, "I'm only fluent in six languages. I'll have to study more to truly be worthy of being called a linguist."

He smiled appreciatively at the antics of the other two, then sighed.

"As stimulating as this has been, I'm afraid I must be going, now," the boy declared. "I've... people to meet."

Waving from the door, he stepped back into the corridor and moved on. It was only a matter of time before Kendera was back in control, or Liddy seized control from him, after all. Noah wished to experience as much of the world as he could first hand before that happened.

Waving goodbye to Noah, as he left, Julian leaned back against the wall, smirking up at Lisette, his hands behind his head. "Weren't we in the middle of something before he showed up? I think you're going to have to remind me."
