One Moment in Time | INVITE ONLY

Everything had been set up just so - Regina Wyse had seen to it. It was an outdoor wedding, rows of white chairs divided by a single aisle leading up to an arch woven with white flowers and ivy. It was simply, really, but elegant.

Sophia was just glad her mother had been more than content to handle all the arrangements. She paced in the small tent at the back, peeking outside now and then at the arriving guests.

"Bloody 'ell, Soph! Willye stop pacin' a'ready!" her mother admonished.

"I cannae help it!" Sophia snapped back. "How many people did ye invite? This was supposed tae be a small ceremony, ye'll remember!"

"I didnae invite that many. Asric an' yerself did most of the invitin', y'know," Regina answered patiently. She sighed. "Will ye at least let me finish yer hair?"

Sophia sat. "Where's Collin?"

"He's with Pan, of course. He'll be fine, Sophia. Let's just focus on ye for today, just fer a little while. Alrigh', lass?"

It was Sophia's turn to sigh.

Outside the bridal tent, guests continued to arrive...

Ric had been pacing all morning, he was surprised he hadn't burnt a hole in the ground yet. But it was only a matter of time, the grass was already flat beneath his feet. He pulled on his tie, loosening it a little so he could relax. He wasn't the best when it came to commitment but he loved Sophia more than life itself. He'd do anything for her.

Damian pulled at his tie, in unconscious mimicry of his mentor. Only, Damian merely found his attire uncomfortable. Why did weddings have to be so formal? Sighing, the boy made his way over to the chairs where Pan was sitting with little Asric. He took a seat beside the elf, then bit his lip momentarily.

"Can I -" he began, pausing a moment. "Can I hold him?" The thirteen-year-old smiled as the elf agreed, carefully handing the baby over.

Following Pan's instructions, Damian settled the baby in his arms, smiling down at his mentor's son. "Hey, there," the boy murmured. Asric Collin gazed curiously back up at him and Damian grinned. Looking about to be sure no one except the elf was close enough to hear him, he quietly exclaimed, "You're so cute!"

Of course, teenage boys did not refer to anything as 'cute' in public. That'd just be embarrassing.

Passion glided in the area where the wedding was taking place. She was quite happy for her ex-employer, and wondered how nervous he was right now. She decided to go find him, which was quite easy for the vampire.

"You know, the grass might want to breath." Her soft voice called out to the pacing, nervous Asric. "Thanks for inviting me by the way." She smiled softly.

Outfit!

Colin walked into the wedding smoothing out the edges of his suit nervously as he was shown to his seat.

The day was beautiful and he enjoyed the concept of an outdoor wedding. He briefly wondered if he should have perhaps brought Silver, but decided it was for the best he didn't.

Still for the few moment he was plagued my melencholy memories, until he determinedly pushed the thoughts back, and look at the day ahead of him.

He was happy for the couple.

Kallie looked about her, trying to look slightly more relaxed as she felt while not throwing off an air that would ruin her image.

She did not want the people to stop trusting her, but she did not wish to steal any light from the day. She doubted she would - these were educated people who wouldn't be interested in her for anything other than her personality - if anyone was even interested in that.

Smiling and nodding at a few people she knew, she took a seat near the back, and patiently waited for the event to begin.

Demetri walked towards where the the magic would happen. His two collegues were getting married. He was happy for them.

He smoothed down his suit which held his pure blood crest on his right side. He straighted his tiw which held another crest in the middle of his knot. He ruffled his hair and went towards the seats. He spotted someone at the back with blond hair and went next to her.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked with a smile.

"She's right, you know," Ethon remarked, coming to a stop beside the female vampire. He thought he might recognize her, though, he wasn't entirely certain. If they hadn't met, she'd have no clue he was a vampire, as well. The man didn't particularly care, at the moment.

"You needn't pace so much. Unless you've reason to be fearful for your life," Ethon teased Asric. "That would be interesting, to say the least. The mighty Asric Chaos, afraid of his wife." It was clear he was amused by the idea.

Ethon glanced about the area. "My brother should be here, soon. Or is here. Probably flirting with someone..."

He turned and looked as someone entered and soon a nervous smile appeared on his face. "Thanks for coming." He smiled looking at the grass beneath his feet. "They'll need to replant the grass after I'm done." He smirked looking up as Ethon arrived.

"You know me old friend." He smiled holding his arm out for the older man to take. "Never could stay still for long."

"Do you know Passion? I believe she knows your brother." He said looking between them both for confirmation.

"As long as its not my future wife he's flirting with I don't care."

Kallie looked up from her musings at the sound of a voice. She looked at the man for a moment - adorned with a rather high amount of crests - before returning his smile politly and inclining a hand towards the seat.

"No, please," she said primly - as was her nature - before turning her attention back to the front.

After a slight pause her brain reminded her that it would probably polite to speak to her new seating partner and she grasped for something to say.

"And how do you know the bride or groom?"

Aldan was a bit wary about this wedding, though he'd hidden his feelings until the day came. He was very attached to Sophia and Asric, and he doted on Asric jr --their son-- quite happily and extremely so, taking his own amusement in spoiling the baby and making plans to do so even more in the future. Speaking of whom, he glanced over where his nephew (and how weird was that to think of?) was located in the arms of the house elf before turning his attention to his older brother.

He joined Asric over by his side, tugging lightly on his tie. His brother had dubbed him best man and therefore, he'd have to wear this bloody suit. He hated suits. He much preferred muggle jeans or something. "You should've had a nude wedding," he murmured to his older brother, "would've been easier. You're gonna end up like that with her after the wedding anyways, Ric." He gave a cheeky grin to his brother at that.

Sacha arrived at the wedding site, Alise and Matthew with him. He brushed the boy's hair back into place. Squeezing his shoulder lightly, he turned Matthew towards the clearing, taking Alise's hand in his own, steering them all towards the bridegroom.

"Congratulations, Asric," Sacha told the other man. "You'll remember my son, Matthew, of course,* and this lovely woman is my wife, Alise. Give your regards to the Headmaster, son.

"Alise, this is Asric Chaos, the groom," he told Alise in Russian. "I've just introduced you. As my wife, of course." The man gave her hand a gentle squeeze, a faint smile curving his lips and lighting his eyes.



* Matthew attended Hogwarts his first year, then as Matthew Wright

She looked up to the male vampire, and nodded. "Hello, I am Passion Rose." She held out her hand. She laughed. "But Womens temper must always be feared." She paused. "Not mine though, I have to admit my old personality over powers my vampire ones." She laughed again.

"Brother?" She asked, frowning. "Who is your brother?" Then she looked at Aldan, who she only knew his name by hearing his name used in Hogwarts. She raised an eyebrow at his comment.

She looked at the Durmstrang Headmaster and nodded towards him. She felt awkward, her usual greetings consisted of lots of hugs and smiles. But these men seemed so serious at times, and wasn't sure on how they would take it.

Demetri sat down next to the woman and smiled.

"I'm the Healer at Hogwarts, thats how I know Asric and Sophia. What about you?" Demetri asked.

"A healer? I had always admired such work," she stated with just the slightest trace of fondness. "I think they are often highly undervalued... even though many of us would not know what to do without them."

"Oh, this and that really - Business; I have worked with Ric many times on behalf of the ministry in things involving the school," she stated purposely being a little vague. If the man did not recognize her as the Minister she did not wish to flaunt it about. She wanted to live in the small amount of time she had where she was just Kallie.

Alise smoothed her black dress, forcing a smile on to her face. She didn't know any of these people. She was too stupid to be in this crowd; Sacha should have let her stay at home. She followed him anyway, her seductive smile staying on her lips.

Kissing the groom's cheeks in tradition, Alise forced out a , "Happy to meet you. Have happy wedding!" then turned back to her husband with a grin.

"Best English I ever used. Think I deserve a high five," From the corner of her eye, she noticed a school mate- Kallie. Her eyes lit up with mischief, but she didn't make a move.

Yet.

Iva peered around for her boyfriend, standing tall in her gray heels. She dressed herself in a green and gray dress, representing her house colors perfectly. Fiddling with her curled hair, she finally stopped the boy. She headed over, then smiled at the babe.

"How cute," she commented, padding over to him. She never really liked babies before, but her mentor's child was... adorable. She would never say so though; it was bad luck to compliment a baby.

"Что уродливый ребенок!" she cooed, poking the side of the young boy's face. Damian was almost forgotten to the girl now. Her voice had risen into baby talk, unusual for the girl, "Может быть, наш ребенок будет красивее!"


(What an ugly baby! Maybe our children will be prettier!)

"Isn't that the truth?" Ethon smirked, taking Asric's arm.

He turned to the woman, Passion. "Ethon Galenson," he introduced himself, shaking her hand. "Pleased to meet you. You'd likely know my brother as Rush.

"Sacha, old friend. I see you are doing well for yourself." Ethon grinned at Sacha, shaking the man's hand, before offering his hand to Matthew. "Handsome lad. Far too handsome to be related to this one, here."

He lightly took Alise's hand, brushing his fingers against her knuckles. "Milady," he smiled, adding in Russian, "Congratulations."

She widened her eyes. "Rush! Wow, I didn't know he had a brother in the first place." She laughed softly. "Well, it is nice to meet you Ethon."

She turned to the Headmaster of Durmstrang, his wife, and his son. "Hello," She said in bad russian. She could only speak english, and greek.

Sacha gave a small smile, pressing a fond kiss to Alise's temple. "You've done very well," he agreed.

"Ethon," he returned, gripping the vampire's hand. Sacha extended his hand to the woman. "Miss Rose, isn't it?" he asked, speaking English. "Pleased to meet you.

"Congratulations, Asric." Sacha turned to his family. "Shall we go find seats, then?"

Damian looked up with a smile as Iva came over and joined him. He watched as she spoke to little Asric, her voice taking on a tone he didn't actually recall hearing her use before. It was... cute. Careful to keep a hold on the baby, Damian leaned forward and planted a brief kiss on the side of her face.

"Hey, Tiya," he greeted. "You look beautiful. Wanna hold him?"

Iva twriled her skirt, letting it fan up and ride up her legs. "I know, thank you." she said proudly. She always had a sense she was beautiful, but it was nice to hear Damian say it. He was supposed to say these things, being her boyfriend and all. "You look very nice too. I like you in a tie,"

"I do not want to hurt him," she sighed. Children weren't her thing, ever. She began to eye her boyfriend appreciatively, from him blue eyes to his lean figure. Maybe she'd deal with children, if he asked. "Teach me how to hold him, Demushka,"

He smirked and looked down at his brother. "Always the comedian." He said messing his brothers hair. "We have all honeymoon to be naked and believe me we wont be needing clothes." He whispered giving his brother a wink before looking up at the rest of the guests.

"Thanks Sach." He smiled his eyes moving from him to look at his son. "Hello Matthew, great to see you again. How's school? Not as good as Hogwarts i'd imagine." He smiled playfully shoving Sacha.

"Thank you for coming." He said taking Alise's hand and kissing it. "You got married and didn't invite me?" He joked. "Congratulations. Im glad you've found someone to settle down with."

"Speaking of your brother. Where is he? Last time i saw him he was surrounding by... nevermind." He smirked.

"Thanks." He smiled one last time. "Thanks for coming."

Aldan scowled in annoyance as Asric messed with his hair. Git. He reached a hand up to fix it, shaking his head with a grin as Asric commented about not needing clothes later. He turned his head to look at the Durmstrang headmaster silently before he wondered about the other guests.

Tugging once more at the stupid collar around his neck, he spotted the wedding cake for the bride and decided it looked the most delicious thing he'd ever seen. He peaked at Asric and made sure the bride wasn't there before he headed over to the cake, keeping an eye out for people he knew.

Making it to his destination, he swiftly looked about before he reached a finger towards the cake to steal a finger full of icing.

Ric smiled at his guests but made sure to keep an eye on his brother. He knew exactly what he was like and it was only a matter of time before he did something stupid.

He slyly followed Aldan with his eyes until he reached the cake. within seconds his wand up in his hand and pointing at his brothers back, making him freeze with time. "Not so fast little brother." He laughed walking over to stand beside Aldan. "The cake is for later." He smiled pickng Aldan up and placing him beside him at the alter.

"Now behave. Sophia will kill you if you ruin her big day."
