DADA (1st years)

It was time for what Gabrielle hoped would be her favorite class. She was looking forward to meeting new people and maybe even meeting some cute guys. She smiled at the thought. The defense against the dark arts classroom was very big, open and airy. She looked around, hoping someone would offer her a seat.

Edith walked into the classroom and saw there was only one student there, she then placed her tea on desk and took a seat, she looked up at the girl and smiled

"How are you lovie?" she asked

Gabrielle turned wen the Professor came in.

"I'm fine thanks, you?" She asked politely, smiling back.

Sergiy had walked in. he was in a hurry but did not look like he was as he entered the classroom he spoke." Am I late?" He scanned the room that was close."Good." He said slowly, entering the room and sitting down next to the girl."Morning Professor." He said slowly.

Edith looked up as she noticed another student walk in, he seemed very polite though most first years were, Edith then got up and walked around to the front of her desk

"No your not late, though sadly I can't say the same for the rest of your classmates I thin we shall just begin. Welcome to your very first Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson, im pleased to see you have taken this subject I think its vital for all witches and wizards to know how to defend themselves"

Edith pulled out her wand getting ready to show demonstrate to them " Today we shall be learning to to cast a spell which blindfoldes your target. To cas the spell you simply hold your wand firmly and give it a nice sharp flick and say Obscuro" Edith then flicked wand at a large wooden figure behind her desk it then hover to the front of the classroom

"So who wants to go first?" she asked

He sighed and spoke."Me, Professor I will have a good at first."He said standing up. Before walking over towards the figure, taking out his wand slowly and holding it firmly he His hand was out as he flicked the wand and barked."Obscuro" With that being said the figure's eyes begun to form a cloth already his eyes, and then wrap towards the back of his head. The blindfold was whitish gray. And he looked at the Professor and said."I did it, I can't believe I did it." He said in a half assed, lazy voice. As if he didn't know of his capabilities.

Edith watched as the boy performed the spell, she was quite surprized at how well he had done the spell on his time most times the blindfold would be quite then and not that effective

"Well done Mr Monomyth that was a very impressive cast not many are as successful as you on their first try" Edith then looked at girl in the class

"So Miss Sands would you like to come up now and attempt the spell"

He looked at the Professor and spoke."Thank you very much Professor Miller. It's a pleasure and Honor hearing that from someone like you who has a ton of experience."Although he was being activism, the sac ism was no found in his voice as if he masked it and was actually telling the truth, however when he he said thank you, Professor Miller. Those words he meant. He then went back to his sit and sat down.

Walks in cheerily. "pardon me professor but im here to escort the first year segiy on his first visit to hogsmeade. headmaster chaos instructed me to do so." she smiles at the little first year and thinks blushing 'hes cute....' she snaps out of it and grins "well then come on!"

Edith then looked at the door and saw an older student enter the classroom, she hadn't recognised her perhaps she didn't take fifth year DADA

"Oh ok, Mr Monomyth pack up your books it seems you are wanted else where" Edith said

What he was leaving? On who's orders? Why him. He sighed and spoke."Do I have to leave can I stay? Or do I not have a choice in the matter?" He asked her slowly."Professor?" He asked her again waiting for an answer.

Eliza pouts. "come on you stubborn little thing you. headmaster will chew us both out if you dont come" she smiles "and besides... itll be fun. im not like the other older students"

Edith was surprized with the boy, he didn't seem that eager to go to Hogsmeade, must students would jump at this opptunity to skip class and go there

"Well Mr Monomyth while it is a pleasure to see your keen interest in this subject, im afraid that Professor Chaos clearly thinks it's important for you to go" Edith wasn't quite sure why Asric had insisted having the boy go to Hogsmeade when he had a class

This was not fair, why was he going. He didn't ask for this. he sighed and spoke."I will only go if Professor Miller, will give me a Class for her and myself, on the next lesson first hand. I want to be preferred I have no interest for fun nor games."He said coldly, hopefully Professor Miller will allow that.

Edith listened to the boy's request, "Well I suppose I can mange that, oh Mr Monomyth for homework read chapter 8 in your textbook please" Edith said

He smiled at her grabbed his books and spoke."Thanks Professor Miller. I'll be back to you tomorrow in the morning for a private lesson, I'll have Chapter eight, nine, and ten done by today at nine o-clock." HE smiled, and left with the fifth year.
