by Charlotte sighed as she sat in a chair near the window and looked outside at the Hogwarts grounds. It was a beautiful school, really. Full of trees, animals, water, life. All that while still being magical and... sophisticated.
Yet she couldn't help but feel a little homesick. The girl wondered how her family was doing... sure, she had heard from them earlier in the week and they were fine, but it was not the same. It was getting dark, her mother would probably be at the kitchen cooking dinner. Her father would be getting home soon and her brother- well, he was probably in his room, stuck to his computer, or outside playing sports with the boys. If it was the second option, her mother would be calling him back home in a few minutes and he would whine. She chuckled at the thought and rolled her eyes.
Too lost in her own world, she didn't even realize someone had sat next to her and was looking at her.
