Healing (Lesson 3, First Years)

Serenade skipped happily to the healing arts classroom. She had never excelled at fixing or healing things. No, she normally was the one to break things. Still, Serenade thought that what she wasn't good at she should strive to be better at. With this in mind, she sat down in the front row of the classroom, fingers drumming over her textbook in anticipation.

Xaria slumped down in a chair, suddenly being hit with a pang of guilt. Her mother had been a healer, and by taking the class she felt as though she was trying to better the woman. She sighed a little and began tapping out a rhythm on the side of her chair. She thanked her mother for teaching her some of the basics of healing, knowing that they would be useful in some situation or another.

"Hey Xaria," Serenade greeted the other first year joyfully, waving. "Nice to see you again."

She leaned back against her chair, propping her feet up on the desk as she hummed softly. "I wonder what we'll be doing in this fancy class today..." Serenade mused aloud, half singing the sentence as she slowly moved the chair back and forth.

She then tilted her head back and looked at Xaria, her face upside down as she grinned and said quietly, "Sorry, I'm a bit scatter-brained."
