Soundless Voice/ Donkov Mansion/ Anual ball

Nikolai studied the invitations as each guest showed them to him but between breaks he caught himself looking Salv he was glad to have her back in his life. Though they would be working most of the time he hoped that they could find more time to be alone if that was ever possible with Luka constantly wanting his attention.

Occasionally he would nod in Luka's direction or fiddle with a piercing he wasn't bored but the waiting between guests sometimes was a little long and he was told not to leave his post unless he told to do so.

Luka pouts slightly. Nikolai was his butler after all. His father couldnt order him to do anything, only luka could. So he would. That was that.

"nikoali! come join us. it cannot be that much fun standing over there all alone. Im bored just looking at you. Come have fun. Thats a direct order."

Decides to test out the disguise and walks cooly over to where the group is standing, and nods to Luka.
"This is a nice party," she says politely, taking in the decor. "By the way, I'm Candy Bloodwood. A pureblood, as my father would have me say." She rolls her eyes.

Nikolai was glad for a break and went to his master's side he wasn't sure what he was going to but that was the fun the adventure not knowing what was going to happen. Though something was off one of the guests and he could sense it but he just shrugged it off for now he would keep an eye on them though no one was going to get away with crashing this party if he could help it.

"So what do you want to do first my Lord I see you have lots of people to hang out with you must be very happy with the turn out." Niko said with a slight smile on his face.

Luka looked around the people filled room and shrugged, laying both hands on his costom made walking stick and sighing.

"i dunno nikolai. The only people i really know all that well are you and Valentina. The rest of them are older kids....and the older kids dont like me much so i tend to stay out of their way." he grabs a drink and hands one to nikolai as well. His butler deserved the chance to have fun. "ill be fine here, go enjoy your self ok?"

For the first time in her life, Firoza felt completely alone. Well, she'd always felt alone, but this was the first time she hadn't liked it. Moving away from the group, she sneaks off to go explore the mansion. There had to be SOMETHING worth looking at around here...

"You don't need to thank me for telling you the truth." Afonka grinned at her, humming softly. No matter what she wore, he found her absolutely stunning.

Blushing slightly, he continued pulling at the tie around his neck nervously.

Tessa smiled as Afonka was talking to her. " Yes I know this. But you are supposed to say thank you." She grinned a little bit. " I know gave Ariel so she feels like she is dressed up.I brought her a fancy diamond collar."

She then was smiling as she was looking around.

Mystic was glad that she received an invite to Donkov's ball. She knew that she needed to get out and have some fun, but seeing is she did not know who all was going to be there. She knew that Matt was grounded for the entire summer but she had hoped that his father would allow him to escort her to the ball. She had sent the Highmaster an owl asking permission for Matt to attend and Mystic got really excited when she received an owl back saying he could.

Mystic told Matt that she would meet him at the ball, when she arrived she was a little nervous because she did not see anyone that she knew. Finally she saw the girl she met in the library that one day Tessa, so she walked up to her.

Mystic could see she was with someone but she wanted to talk to someone she knew until Matt arrived. "Excuse me Tessa can I join you guys."

Rose wandered towards the Donkov residence flashing a bright smile and her invitation at the guard guarding the entrance. She wandered to the room where the party was to be held and smiled at everyone there. Like the other people who came before her, she went towards the host of the house - Luka. She smiled politely at the boy "Hello Luka" she said, tugging slightly at a curl of her hair. She nodded politely to the man that he was talking to and blushed.

Who could she be kidding? She was a half blood and she was here. She didn't know how to act towards everything. A small pout made its way to her features before quickly going away. "So Luka how are you?" she asked the young man.

Tessa was smiling as she was with Afonka. She didn't get to see him a lot anymore since he was gone. So she was going to enjoy this ball. And the fact that she got to dress up made her feel special. And Ariel was enjoying herself tonight. She wasn't expecting that someone that she knew besides Afonka would be here.

But she then heard someone coming over to her. She then smiled as she was asked a questions. “ Sure I guess you can join us.”

"Ooh, diamonds." Afonka's eyes glittering, he kneeled down to pet Ariel again, staring at the collar. He'd never been so close to something so expensive. It was so shiny and pretty.

Glancing up at the sound of an unfamilar voice, Afonka stood up, waving. "Hey, I'm Afonka."

Mystic almost felt like it was not ok for her to come over, "If its not ok, I can find something else to do." It was easy for Mystical to misunderstand what people say.

Mystic smiled when the guy that was with Tessa introduced himself, "Hi Afonka, I am Mystical. But you can call me Mystic." Mystic placed out her hand to shake.

Tessa smiled as Afonka had bent down and was petting Ariel again. She knew that he was looking at her collar. “Yes diamonds, I got it for her just so that she feels specials when I go to all of these dances.”

She then was smiling as Afonka introduced himself. “ No it is alright. You can stay with us, I really don't know anybody expect Afonka.”

Mystic smiled, "Well I am glad, casue you know me I don't know anyone but you." she smiled

"I do have a date, but he is not here yet."

Mystic wished that Matt would hurry up because she never liked being a third wheel. It was something that she had gotten used to even though she didn't like it. Mystic had changed a lot over the last year and that was a very good thing.

Tessa smiled. “ Well that is good that you found us. I was excited where I was invited to this ball, but I really don't know the person.” Tessa then remembered the one Phillie invited her but she wasn't going to bring that up.”

“ Oh that is good that you have a date.”

Val looked around the room. She was bored. Very bored. The young girl didn't really know anybody, and was feeling a little shy. Valentina walked around, looking at everybody.

She sighed to herself, and decided to return to her original spot.

Firoza walked through the halls of the manor, checking every detail as she passed. Priceless paintings adorned the walls, and pedestalled artifacts stood and precise intervals. In general, the place was stunning. Not that she'd expected any less from an earl. She considered looking for a secret door or vault (she figured most manors had at least one of those) but decided to return to the ballroom before someone caught her snooping. She went to stand in Luka's group, hoping he'd let slip something about the manor. Well, something USEFUL about it.

Katerina gave a polite smile at the older girl who had waved at her, and stood there awkwardly near a corner. There was nothing to do, she didn't know anyone - hell, she wasn't even a pureblood!

Watching as people passed by her, she leaned against the wall and sighed, wishing this damn ball would just end.

Walks up to Nikolai and hands him a letter, written on yellowed parchment with a green wax seal. "Would you mind giving this to Luka at the end of the night? I'm sure it'll be a good laugh. Oh, and don't worry, it isn't 'booby-trapped' or anything," she added, before he could ask. If he did at all. But since she knew he was Luka's guardian-butler-friend or something, she figured he'd want to know. She left the party then, walking out like she owned the world and smiling to herself as she read the letter in her mind.

"Nice party, Luka. -Firoza"

Smirking, she passed through the doors and as soon as she was alone, shifted her features back and ran off.
