Dead or Alive?

"Ha!" Aurelie said, laughing, and then waved Madam Puddifoot over. "Hey, I'd like a scone please? A tray of scones?" She turned to Laura. "What would you like?"

Laura thought for a few seconds. "Can I have a blueberry muffin, please?" She grinned, she loved blueberry muffins!

"And some paint, I want to get rid of this pink..."

The lady gave her a death glare before storming off to the front desk. Laura smirked, maybe crazy lady wasn't so scary after all....Although, she may have to check her muffin for poison or spit...

"Haha," Aurelie said. "What's your favorite color? Mine is blue, like a sky-blue, although sky-blue is HIGHLY overrated." She grinned.

"Turquoise," Laura replied. "Because it's a mix of blue and green. It may be too light for my taste but it's still my favourite colour...What's your favourite...music? Like a band?"

"The Weird Sisters, definitely. Muggle band....Muse, I guess?" Aurelie shrugged. "You?"

"Hmm...I'm not sure about magic bands...You don't exactly listen to magic music when you're in hiding..." She pondered for a second. "Nope, I don't know any magic bands, but muggle-sure. I'd have to say Paramore and Pink."

"PInk?" Aurelie screwed her face up. "I thought that was a woman...."

(LOL, I didn't know that PInk was a band)

"Oh, yeah, sorry-forgot that she wasn't a band!" She apologised laughing nervously. "I mean I like Pink the person!"

Aurelie laughed. "Don't worry," she said. "I understood what you meant. I like Pink too...except for Raise Your Glass. I've heard that song WAY too many times."

"Yeah, I completely agree," She nodded. "It just gets worn out after hearing it so many times. Hey, do you know a lot about the Muggle world?"

Aurelie shrugged. "I'm a halfie. Half-blood. Mum's a muggle. Quite a shock when Dad had to tell her about the wizarding world. So, I know a lot about the muggle world, whenever my mum tried to convert me when I was little."

Laura nodded. "Ah. My mother was a muggleborn but a witch and my father was a pureblood. She told me all about the muggle world, and even had muggle things in our house!" She laughed. "Oh, how my dad was confused!"

Aurelie giggled. "I can totally see that happening. My dad was confused too whenever my mum brought something home when I was little. We have pictures of him going, 'what the heck?' whenever my mother tried to make him play baseball with him."

Laura snorted. "Yeah, my dad used to find my mum's mobile phone on the kitchen counter and he'd think it was some sort of cooking device! Don't get me started on the televison!" She shook her head while grinning, but then frowned; coming back into the present.

"I managed to go back to my old home last year, and got some of my family things back. Fortunately the door was locked. Unfortunately, it was because a bunch of Death Eaters were there. I barely made it out alive....but I guess it was worth it..." She chuckled. "I'm sorry-I'm babbling too much..."

"That takes guts," Aurelie said, impressed. "What other daredevil stuff have you done?"

Laura grinned. "Well...in the past four years, I have had about forty-seven encounters with Death Eaters; they want to 'kill' me, like 'exterminate' the family or whatever"

She listed them off. "...Umm...I broke into their headquarters once, but that wasn't exactly on purpose...still...I called a werewolf 'Hairy Back Mary' once, but he was evil so...I don't really know, it all has to do with Death Eaters and pranks....what about you?"

(OOC: I AM SO SO SO SORRY FOR NOT REPLYING SOONER...got grounded, go figure. )

Aurelie shrugged. "I guess I'm a 'good girl', I haven't really gotten into trouble." She gave a faint grin. "At least, not with Death Eaters."

Laura grinned. "Ah, so who do you get into trouble with, if it isn't the Death Eaters?"

Aurelie shrugged. "Teachers, parents, the works...security guards if necessary."

"Oh," Laura laughed. "So a pretty normal life if you exclude the horrible past..."
