King of the Jungle Gym

The park was always one of the best places Zeph loved to come. He came at least once a week, always escorted by his sister's faithful house elf, Renune. He usually didn't see many kids there. Sometimes one or two depending on the day and the time. Most kids his age though were in school. He was tutored at home though and was further in his studies than most kids.

Swinging by his legs on the monkey bars the boy let his hands dangle, the blood rushing to his head. Zephan was rather lonely today, there was no one else around.

Delaney ran ahead of her latest sitter - this one a tad better that the last one, however still did not have the energy to keep up with the small child.

Especially when Delaney was on a mission. And today's mission? Have fun.

There was no where quite like a playground to any child, and Delaney with her endless energy and supplies of curiousity could live on the playground forever. She never even minded being alone.

Though today that didn't seem to be the problem.

She frowned and tilted her head as she looked at the boy hanging from the Monkey Bars.

"Don't that hurt youw head? Hanging all... upside-downed like that?"

Zephan smiled down at the girl below him. "Nah," he replied swinging a little bit. "You only do it long enough until right before you get a headache. You can tell because before the headache your legs will go numb." He grinned.

Lifting a hand he grabbed the bar and swung himself down, landing on the sand with a soft thud. "So what's your name," the boy asked. "I ain't never seen you around here before." Zephan gave his trademark grin and brushed some sand off his pants.

Delaney frown, but after a moment nodded her head slowly, "Oh... but... ain't it gunna hurt if youw legs go all... funny feeling? I don't think I wanna have my legs all... funny."

"Daddy usually takes me to othew pawks; closew to home," she shrugged, and kicked her feet into the ground before grinning up at him. "I'm Delaney. Who you?"
