Okay, so she'd got a little lost this time. Another business trip, another unfamiliar location...nothing new really. Acadia was used to being dragged around the world by her mother, who was a famous robe designer. She consulted with many a famous witch and wizard and had some unique ideas about robes that captured the magical world's attention. Acadia found it all incredibly boring, and she nearly always sneaked out under her mother's watchful eye to roam whatever city they were in. Usually, she would simply step in the nearest cafe or pub.
Currently, Acadia was in Russia, near the prestigious school of Durmstrang--and she saw absolutely nothing interesting in sight. In fact, she had become quite lost at this point. The alley she was in was rather dark, not to mention a light drizzle of rain was beginning to fall. Soon, the rain had thickened to a downpour. Hmm. She had hoped for better than this. Sighing, she stepped under an overhang, waiting for the rain to stop. Just then, she saw a faint outline of a girl in the distance. The previously deserted alley now had two visitors. Acadia squinted, trying to make out the dark figure.
How many times have I told you to wear your glasses? Maybe you'd keep a better eye out for trouble if you could see!
Acadia heard her mother's voice in her head clear as day, but she was a stubborn girl. Glasses were not her style, and she was determined not to wear them until all was lost.
