Sit Down! You're rocking the boat

Aquila Turrow, lugage already packed away, Robes arealdy on (For once he was being prepared ahead of time) ran across the deck, a wide grin across his face.

He wasn't even bothering to pretend that he was any older than he had been before. After all, maturity and oldness was so well... dull.

Happy with himself, he eventually slowed to a stop as he found himself below one of the large sails, the rigging completely in view.

A frown showed on his face for a brief moment before it turned into a smirk.

No one told him he wasn't supposed to climb said rigging.

Without a second thought, he jumped and climbed his way into the tall rope.

His stuff all put away in a compartment down below, Afonka had felt the need to stretch his legs. Taking deep breaths of the cool, salty air, he closed his eyes for a moment, shoulders falling as he allowed himself to relax. It was weird going to school with the knowledge he'd acquired over the summer from the mafia. The mafia. They still terrified him, but it was more bearable now than it had been.

Shaking the thoughts out of his head, Afonka blinked his head open, staring around the deck. Frowning at the shadows cast from the mast, he flicked his brown gaze up to it, eyes scanning before what he was looking at. Staring at the boy, his expression slowly morphed into a grin. "Hey," he called up. "Having fun?"

Aquila hand already climbed rather high into the rigging, and was in fact presently tangling himself into the ropes, making an odd little cacoon when he heard the voice and looked down with a grin.

"But of course," he called, "I'm always having fun."

"Why don't you come on up? Its an adventure!"

Grinning up at the boy, Afonka shook his head amusedly. He remembered when he'd been that carefree. It'd been nice. But even though he could be that innocent anymore, it would be fun to even for a moment forget about the mafia and all they entailed.

"Sure!" Afonka called up, gripping the rope in his hands tightly before beginning to climb up to meet the boy.

Aquila grinned as the boy agreed to join him. He had been getting slightly bored on his lonesome. He smimply did not like being in that state. It just did not work.

"I'm Quil by the way."

Grinning at the boy as he reached him, Afonka had to admit that this was really fun. Being up high reminded him of playing Quidditch, which he'd barely had time to play over the summer. Deciding that he'd spend all his free time playing, he glanced down at the deck, grinning.

"The view is amazing from up here. Oh, I'm Afonka by the way."

Quil nodded his head absentmindedly, agree with the boy although he had barely noticed much of the view. To gaze at a view long enough to really recognize the beauty of it, took a disposition more inclinde to spend time on one thing than Aquila's was.

"It is," he agreed before flashing a grin, "And exciting. Anything could happen up here."

He bounced where he was excitedly, before nodding his head at the boy.

"Oh and its fantastic to meet yeah Fonster."

"Yeah," Afonka's eyes brightened as he glanced down at the people below. A slow grin spreading across his face, he looked back up at the boy. "And you see everyone from up here. And most of them wouldn't even notice us unless they looked up."

If he wanted to, he could totally prank all of them. Smirking at that idea, he looked back at the boy. "Likewise, Quilman."

"And no one ever thinks to look up," Quil grinned, his eyes lighting up with mischief. "Though I think that is a horrible, horrible mistake. They should really be taught the errors of their ways should they not?"

He grinned, and swayed slightly on his perch.

"Only how to be taught, to always look up?"

"They should." Afonka agreed, his grin growing to match the boy's. Pranking the people down below sounded fun. No, it sounded more than fun. He'd enjoy this. And after the summer he'd had, Afonka thought he deserved a little fun.

"Hmm," he thought aloud, swinging his feet. "What about we entangle them all in one huge net?"

Quil paused, nodding his head slowly, "It does have possiblilities, to be sure."

He frowned at the people, the rigging around him, and then the people below.

"Though, the fundamentals must be worked out before we go anywhere; the best way to trap the most people - the best way not to get caught."

"Thank you," he said, feeling the swell of pride associated with being acknowledged for something. And after the mess him and the rest of his group had ended up in in Iceland, he deserved to feel good about at least something.

"Of course," Afonka nodded, thinking hard. "Well, aren't there spells that can make you almost invisible? That way we wouldn't be caught because they couldn't see us."

Quil inclinde his head, "Good start, good start..."

He frowned and then smirked.

"Of course it would be more helpful if either of us knew those spells. I mean I have no problem with casting random spells on myself to see what happens, but I am aware that the greater population has a little more sanity than that."

"That, that is true." Afonka said, a frown etched on his face. How could they make the people below not notice them? Running through his list of spells, he hummed a tune he'd picked off from the Wireless, swaying softly.

"Wait," he said, perking up. "We could Confund them all. That'd work."

Quil looked at them all, nodding as the other boy continued through his list of possible ideas, "Thats a lot of people to confund." He let his gaze travel over each person who walked by. A smirk grew on his face.

"Challenge accepted."

Giving an impish grin, the boy dropped from where he was sitting so he was hanging in the rigging once more, eyes dancing at Afonka.

"So, one problem down, net?"

"It'd be like a game," Afonka grinned, bouncing slightly. And if there was anything he really liked, it was games and fun. "And it will be a challenge well done." Grinning as he looked over at Quil at he moved back into the rigging, he glanced back down, the gears turning in his head.

Looking back at the younger boy, his brown eyes shined. "Well, there are a lot of spells to make nets, so really it's a matter of choosing which one."

Pandora was wondering the ahip, trying to find some ofher year mates when she stummbled across a familier voice. She found that the voice belonged to Afonka. She smiled and waved at him.

"Hey Afonka, How are you doing?" She asked with a small smile, remembering the shock of meeting him at the Mafia's home. She smiled to the other boy.

"I hope I'm not interupting anything." She said with a smirk as she sat down.

Aquila's gaze was dragged to the girl who called up to them from the ground. His eyes widened in mock fear as he leaned closer to Afonka.

"We've been caught," he whispered dramatically, his eyes going over exageratedly shifty, "Can we trust her... or must she be... eliminated?"

At the decible Quil spoke, and the distance between the two boys, high up in the rigging, and the girl who had merely been wandering the ship deck, that she would have no chance of catching what he had said.

Glancing down at the sound of his name, Afonka blinked down at Pandora. Giving her a little smile that she probably couldn't see, as he was high up in the rigging and she down on deck below, he gripped the rope tightly in one hand to wave with his other.

Smirking over at Quil, he laughed softly, his brown eyes bright. "I think she just might have to be eliminated," he whispered. And how fun it'll be.

"You two better not be doing drugs or smoking up there. Or I will kill you personaly myself Afonka and I heard that. Being a veela does have it's advantages you know." Pandora said with a smirk to them. She got up and started to tap her foot.

"So answer me, what are you two doing up there?" Pandora demanded.

Quil raised his eyebrow at the other boy "Ooo, you seem to have an admirer."

He wiggled his eyebrows before laughing and turning to the girl, his wand out of his pocket, however half hidden by the side of his robes. Not even Afonka mere inches from him could notice it was there. No one from the deck, unless they had Xray vision would have been able to tell either.

"Sorry," he called with a wide grin, looking anything but. "Confundus."

"Why me personally?" Afonka frowned, more to himself than to the girl down on deck. "Why am I so special?"

Glancing at Quil, he snorted, shaking his head. "That's nice, I guess. But I'm sort of already taken." Did Pandora actually like him? He frowned again, glancing down at her.

Grinning at the boy beside him, Afonka pulled out his wand. With her confused, he didn't have to worry about hiding it. Producing a net from the tip of his wand, his grin widened as it fell over Pandora.
