Tears of gold.

Crystal loved the garden. She was always free to do whatever she wanted, and not end up in some form of trouble for doing so. The year hadn't been off to the best of starts for her in perfect honesty. She'd been late to pretty much every class so far, had lost Prideux at least 30 house points for it and landed herself in detention. She hadn't served it yet, but she was dreading it to no end. She didn't understand. Last term, their professor had been nice. But now? She seemed to be in full on evil mode. Crystal sighed and took out her camera. The camera that always put a smile on her face.

She shivered slightly in the bitter air and looked around for inspiration. Nothing. Not a flower, not a bug, not even a pretty blade of grass made her want to take a snap. She growled in frustration and stood up, walking around. She would find something to take a picture of. She'd do it if it was the last thing she ever did. She really wasn't having a great time this year. Her parents had fought so much over the summer to the point of Crystal leaving home for a while. Her cat had gone missing. And she just wanted to go home.

She reached up and pulled her hair out of it's fish-tail braid,letting it fall down her back. She hid behind it and let her tears fall. This year was not going to go well.
