    The Wiggenweld Potion.

Now, as you may or may not know, the Wiggenweld Potion is a fairly simple potion, though it does have magnificent, useful effects. Do you have a friend who has been magically put to sleep due to a prank, or has a dark wizard caused someone to fall unconscious!? This little potion can wake them up, no matter how heavily they are asleep.

The ingredients can be found on page seventy-nine in your books, but let's just skip that and you will find what you need on the board behind me.

    One Pint of Horklump Juice

    Two Drops of Flobberworm Mucus

    7 Chizpurfle fangs

    Billywig sting slime

    A sprig of mint

    Boom Berry Juice

    One stewed Mandrake

    Drops of Honeywater

    Sloth brain Mucus

    Moondew drops

    Powdered root of asphodel

    Shredded dittany

    Wiggentree bark

    Moly petals

    Salamander blood

    10 Lionfish spines

    Unicorn horn

    Wolfsbane

Now, I know the amount can be intimidating, but it's alright. It's far easier than you would think. First, you add the wiggentree bark, and powdered root of asphodel. Let it sit for five minutes to get nice and disintegrated, before adding the shredded dittany. Stir clockwise three times, and add the Moly petals. Heat on medium temperature for ten seconds, and add the salamander blood, the Lionfish spines, and the Wolfsbane. Stir again, this time counterclockwise five times, and heat for two minutes on the highest temperature.

Remove it from heat, and add the pint of Horklump juice, Flobberworm Mucus, Chizpurfle fangs, and the Billywig Sting slime. Stir clockwise ten times and leave on medium heat for ten minutes. At exactly ten minutes after, you will add the final ingredients. Being, the mint, Boom Berry Juice, Mandrake, Honeywater, Sloth Brain Mucus, and Moondew drops. Stirring clockwise fifteen times and leave it on medium heat for twenty minutes.

If you succeed, you should have a green liquid, that is steaming of course. After your potions are complete, we will test them on animals. Hopefully, you have done a decent job, lest these poor animals suffer some kind of horrific death. Well, get to work.

Potions - First Year (Second Lesson) Empty Re: Potions - First Year (Second Lesson)

Mary was skipping lightly over the floor, excited to take her first class in Potionts. Her father had been very skilled in the subject, and as determined as she was she was intent on succeeding his success in the subject. She walked quickly down the stairs, realising she was getting late if she didn't hurry up. Panting slightly she stumbled through the door, the copy of Magical Drafts and Potions from her bag. Gathering a quill and some ink, she opened the book on the noted page the professor had asked for.

Looking down at it, she shuddered slightly and looked at the various ingredients, eager to start but afraid she would fail completely with the task. She silently gathered the ingredients needed, and listened to Professor Grimstone's instructions. Smiling she nodded, and picked the wiggentree bark, as well as as a root from an asphodel. Sighing she crushed the asphodel root into powder, and added both ingredients into the couldron. While waiting for it to get disintegrated, she began shredding the dittany into fitting pieces, and just when she'd finished she realised the clock had passed one second over. Hurriedly she added the shredded dittany, and stirred clockwise thrice. She attempted to move it slowly, having a feeling that it would work better than stirring feverishly. Smiling, it seemed that it worked quite well and she took her quill, dipped it in ink and wrote the words "Stir calmly." before she quickly added the Moly petals.

Reaching down she turned on the heat, and tried to get it to the correct temprature. Shugging she waited ten seconds, turned off the stove and added the three next ingredients. Stirring once again, she kept a flow that she could have used while playing the various instruments at home. Sighing she started the stove again, heating at the highest possible heat. Smiling she scribbled a bit more in her book, and giggled, enjoying her class.

Continuing she removed the couldron from the heater, huffing as she was pressed down slightly by the heavy weight as she placed it off the stove, turning it off right afterwards. Continuing she was careful to add the ingredients very carefully, using her long elegant fingers to get the exact amount needed. Tilting the bottle, she dropped in some Billywig Sting slime, and then stirred calmly for ten minutes.

When finishing, her arms ached slightly and the hot potion damped slightly. Ignoring it she added the last ingredients that was required. Continuing to stir, she accidentally stirred half a time too much. Frowning she hoped half a stir wouldn't count too much. Sighing she placed it back onto the heater, and turned on the heat, constantly keeping it at the heat they were required to use.

Finally, when the potion was done, she pulled it off the stove again and put it on the table, viewing the green liquid that floated in her couldron. Shivering she hoped it was brewed correctly, seeing that she had accidentally done half a stir too much. Either way, she eyed the poor animals that would have to taste the potion, and she could feel her pals get sweaty with nervousity. Raising her hand she looked at Professor Grimstone and raised her voice, which was shaking slightly from the recent nervosity.

"I'm finished, professor." She said, and glanced at her potion one more time as if making sure it was still there.

Bridget was excited about her first potions class, though after seeing all the ingridents she became a little nervous, she didn't know what to expect from this class but didn't think it would be this hard

She added the Wiggentree bark and powdered root of asphodel, she watched it for five minutes slowly breaking down, so far so good. She then added the dittany, then carefully stirred it three times and added the Moly petals. The book said to heat in on amedium heat. Though Bridget thought she could bring it up to a medium heat quicker by blasting it on high first

In a few seconds the cauldron quickly began to his and boil over, it had changed colour to a dark red, she then quickly stuck her hand up "Professor, Professor!!!" she yelled out urgently
