Potions Lesson 3, 3rd year Empty Potions Lesson 3, 3rd year

Mystic and been able to fit in a lot better than she had expected and she was glad. She had made a few friends and it had been nice.

Her first class of the day was potions and she was ready to start, so she made it into the classroom and picked a desk at the front of the classroom. She had hoped the Samara was in this class with her so she could have some company, but then again she was used to being alone

Mystic just waited for more students and the class to start.

Faye had been feeling slightly better since the end of last term, and her short stint in the St. Mungos again.

The girl was still losing weight - not that she noticed much anymore - however she had level off to a point where she didn't actually feel it. In fact she actually had enough energy at the moment to behave as if she wasn't sick at all.

She nodded and smiled shyly to the other girl in the room, and calmly took her things out, ready for the class. She hadn't even bothered to think about what the room meant to her in relation to her illness this time.

Kendera made her way into the potions classroom. It was one of her favorite classes, really. Always had been. Making her way to a desk, the girl took a seat and pulled out her supplies, waiting for class to begin.

Kas looked around the room at his students, grinning as he did so. He did so love the children, even if some of them were eternally pouty.

"Welcome back, welcome back," he grinned at them all, "We have a more... practical potion for today, though I suppose we can't fault it for that. After all, that does make it useful. Just perhaps less fun to talk about," he grinned at the room.

"Wound cleaning potion," he announced, "Funfact time. Anyone feel like giving out any? House point gallor if you get it right."

Samara stumbled in. She looked to be already being off to a bad start. Having not slept a wink the night before and than falling down a flight of stairs her day was getting progressivly worse.
As she stepped in she stoped herself from cursing under her breath as she realised she was late. She bit her lip stopping in the doorway unsure if she'd be just better off to go hide out in the library or attend the class.
She let out a small sigh "It's a purple liquid used for sterilizing of wounds, when applied it stings and smokes. It could be compared to muggle's Hydrogen peroxide in a way." she said softly looking at the proffessor
"Sorry for my tardiness." she mumbled

Faye frowned unsure if there was really anything else to add beyond what Samara had already said.

"Well.. I suppose it is probably one of the more basic healing potions. Standard to use and what not."

Roman walked into the room right as Professor Zandt asked the question. He held the strap of his book bag with one hand, considering it.

"I guess it's not smart to heal someone before using it... or their wound could get infected," He said thoughtfully from the doorway, then headed to a seat.

Charles, who was an idiot, had forgotten that Potions class was now and it took him around five minutes to get that. He came into the classroom, gasping for breath.

"I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, sitting down on the seat next to Kendera.

Rose Ann practically stumbled into the classroom. She heaved her satchel onto her satchel and bowed apologetically to the professor. "I'm sorry I'm late sir" she said tiredly before slipping into a seat beside Mystical. She nodded quietly to her before ducking her head and payed attention to the class.

Kasper waved off the late comers, like he actually cared, and nodded his head to his responces he got.

"Excellent, Excellent, thank you Samara for that lovely basics, and Faye, Roman, thanks for thinking outside of the box a bit, and still giving me answers," he grinned and flailed his arms exstravagently, "Points for all!!"

"Now," he let the instructions appeared and flopped on his desk, "You brew. I nap, and we'll see who's done first."

He laughed a little, and winked at the class.

Kendera was content to let others answer the professor's query. Wound cleaning potion ought to be simple enough. Not that Kendera ever found potions overtly challenging. She looked up in surprise as Charles entered and took the seat beside her, cheeks coloring faintly. The girl turned her gaze back to the desktop, a small smile tugging at her lips.

Feeling slightly giddy, the girl set to work on brewing the assigned potion. Though she was acutely aware of the boy's proximity, Kendera meticulously kept her gaze fixed on her work. She couldn't explain why she wanted to sneak a peek at the boy, she just knew that she did. And she certainly hadn't the slightest clue why his decision to sit next to her made he so ridiculously pleased.

After a while Kasper clapped his hand and looked at the class.

"Alrighty folks! That is you're time," he grinned at them all, "Now if you'll just give leave your cauldrons as they were, I'll check them out, see who actually managed to shlup something together and you all can run off and actually be free."

Nodding his head he waved them off.
