Quidditch. The one word that Lora associates with happiness all the time. There was just something about wanting to soar high and not knowing exactly where she was headed. And how could she forget the wind? Of course, there was a long way to go, but she already knew one thing.
Flying would be her favourite love in her life.
As she waited with the other students for the Professor to arrive, her curious blue eyes scanned the Quidditch pitch, hoping to catch the sight of anything unusual. Instead, her gaze fell on a brown haired boy a few feet away, playing with another girl.
Dylan Veer.
Her lips turned into a small pout as she realized he had not talked to her all day. She had tried to say a 'hi' to him at their previous class, but her eyes had just widened in front of him and she had sprinted. Basically, she thought she had made a fool of herself.
Lora's grip on her broomstick tightened slightly and she flopped on the ground with a sigh. Why did Dylan have to be so cute? Why couldn't she just be crushing on any other boy? Still, his smile was infectious and she liked that.
Finally she tore her gaze away, and frowned as she traced random patterns on the ground. Her black hair covered her blush filled cheeks, and she had taken off her robes due to the heat.
She needed the Professor to get here soon, so she could fly away from the one boy she really liked.
