Lesson One (Third years) Empty Lesson One (Third years)

Post by Asric Chaos Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:44 pm

Asric walked into the classroom shutting all the windows and blacking them out with a flick of his wand. Once he had reached the professors desk his flicked his wand once more bringing to life a few of the candles so the students would have a little light to see as they made their way in. Now he just had to wait for them to arrive.

Cepheus blinked as he entered the Occlumency classroom. It was dark. How unusual. Instead of thinking over it, he moved to one of the desks and sat down after greeting Professor Chaos happily.

Lucy crinkled her eyebrows as she walked in and saw who the professor was. This wasn't the occlumency professor. She blinked rapidly before deciding against commenting on it. Instead she nodded a greeting and took a seat, keeping her mind blank, or trying to, in case the headmaster wanted to see what they were thinking. She took a seat randomly.

Lacey entered the classroom and squinted to see in the dark. After allowing her eyes to slowly become adjusted to so little light, she carefully made her way to the middle of the classroom where she stood patiently. She looked around eying the other two students before leaning against a desk and shutting her eyes for a few minutes.

Karma walked into the classroom, her eyes used to quickly adjusting to darkness, and sat at a desk, swallowing the rest of the Chocolate Frog she'd been eating on her way here. She wiped her mouth on the back of one hand and waved at the Headmaster with the other.

Arsen entered the occlumency classroom and let out a little smirk. Being the demon of fire or light was rather annoying at times so being in a dark classroom was a welcomed treat for him. He gave Professor Chaos a quick nod before moving to take the seat over in the corner.

He watched carefully as one by one the students arrived. He glanced down at his watch and decided it was time to start. "Right let's begin." He said flicking his wand so that the door closed leaving the room in dull candle lighting.

"Today we will be recaping what you have learnt from the past two years. Now everyone close your eyes and clear your mind. Release all thoughts from your mind and concentrate on your breathing. In... and out. In... and out." He said walking around looking at each student in turn to make sure they were doing as he asked.

Karma let out all the breath in her body and with it, every memory and thought she had. She breathed evenly and waited, doing nothing, thinking nothing.

Lucy did as he said, closing her eyes and bringing up that white all. It was easy to do when she wasn't worried about people looking into her mind, or when she wasn't worried about people finding out what she was thinking. The wall was firm and clear, with no words coming across it. She breathed in and out, focusing on the white.

Lacey was terrible that thinking and doing nothing. She thought far too much to just not think at all. But she did as she was told; drawing a breathe, letting it out, drawing in a breathe letting it out. She cleared her mind of every thought she could, pretending that she wasn't in a room with people but just by herself.

Cepheus did at the teacher instructed, almost tempted to roll his eyes - they did this in First Year! Sighing, he took a breath in, then let it out slowly, clearing his mind of any thoughts. It helped to focus on one thing, usually.

Oliver rushed into the classroom a little bit late and took a seat. He entered just as the Headmaster had finished his speech, sat down and cleared his mind and breathed in and breathe out.
