Lesson Two - 2nd Years

Miles walked into the Greenhouse and quickly checked that the plants were happy and healthy, he then made his way towards the solid wood table and sat down

He watched as the sun streamed through the glass, admiring it beauty, Miles then glanced over at the door to see if any second years had arrived yet

Jamie walked to the door to her class and opened it. Jamie saw she was the only one there. "Hello professor" Jamie said walking over to where she always goes. Jamie got out the book needed for this class.

Alex walked into Herbology and saw only the professor and her friend Jamie. Alex smiled and walked over to Jamie. "Hey" Alex said. "Hello professor" Alex addressed and waited for the class to begin.

Two Slytherin girls had entered the Greenhouse, Miles smiled at them both " Hello and welcome" he said warmly. Miles looked at the board behind him realizing he hadn't put up what they would be learning about

He then pulled out his wand and tapped a piece of chalk sitting on the edge of his desk, it then floated towards the board and began writing "Belladona Nightshade" on the board

Miles then looked back at the girls " I'll just get you to write that as a heading in your notebooks thanks" Miles then opened a book on lethal plants and began reading as he waited for more students to arrive

Juniper walked into the class, and saw "Belladona Nightshade" written on the board. Where had she heard that before. She walked up to the other two girls in the class, "I'm Juniper."

Miles smiled at the student who had just walked in, he then glanced down at his watch realising that it was time to start the lesson

he looked around at the three students in his class " So class today we'll be learning about how to restore plants such as Belbutter plants from the effects of Belladona, now im sure you probably know this plant from potions" Miles then flicked his wand over at a trolley with potted Belladona plants, they instanly levitated in the air and floated over to the students and landed in front of them

Miles then pulled out a box from behind the desk, it contained rolling pins and gloves then he looked at his class " So if you would all come up and get a rolling pin and pair of gloves we can get started"

Juniper went up to the box and fished around for a pair of gloves that were the right size for her. She let the harsh material slide over her fingers. Then she picked up a rolling pin, hitting it against her palm while she waited for the others.
