The raven simply wouldn't be calmed, his distress translating back to Sophia through their familiar/mistress bond. He extended his wings, giving them a half flap, beak parted. Then, he drew them in to his sides, shuffling agitatedly back and forth across his perch.
"What has gotten intae ye, Magus?" Sophia asked perplexedly. Her familiar had never been like this before. Never. It wasn't helping that her head felt so very full, like someone had stuffed it with cotton. It was starting to give her a mild headache, actually.
Finally putting the agitated raven outside and closing the window behind him, the woman turned back towards the classroom, waiting for her students to arrive.
