Mythology Lesson 1: Third Year

Tobias entered the classroom and sat. He waited for the teacher to come in. Hopefully the Professor wasn't scared of alf Vampires as he or she was teaching Mythology. Tobias laughed at himself.

Camille walked into her Mythology class and saw the boy from her other classes there as well.

"Hey," she greeted him.

Quinn was excited to be coming to the Mythology classroom. Mythology was one of her strongest subjects the other is music. Quinn walked into the classroom.

"Hey" Quinn beamed and took a seat next to Camille. "I'm so glad they got this to be one of the classes. Mythology is one of my strongest subjects" Quinn said to Camille but it was loud enough for Tobias to hear also.

"Are you both excited for this year" Quinn asked Camille and Tobias.

Camille smiled at Quinn as she sat down next to her and sighed. "You're lucky then," she told her, "I have no idea what my strongest subject is. I only know my weakests."

"Oh, very!" she exclaimed, "Third year is the year everything changes. I mean, you're like. . . a teenager. You're not one of the firsties, worried about school, or a second year, worried about how school is going to be different from the year before. And you're not a fourth year, worried about the fifth year O.W.L 's, or a fifth year, studying hard for the O.W.L 's."

"You're also not a seventh year, killing yourself because of N.E.W.T's, or a sixth year, trying to breathe between O.W.L and N.E.W.T, but actually having to study as well," she continued, "You're a third year, enjoying life. The best year at Beauxbatons, duh, I'm excited."

Quinn heard Camille talking, like a lot. "Camille I think we get it" Quinn said to her friend. "But it is true though but you just didn't have to explain it in one hugh breath you no" Quinn said to Camille. "Although I couldn't have said it better" Quinn told her friend. "Where the hell is this teacher at, I'm excited to start this class" Quinn asked.

"I think our right there Camille. I am also very excited about this year. Even though I am the only third year boy." Tobias said with a smile.

Quinn smiled and decided to sort of tease Tobias. "Don't worry Tobias, we're nice girls, we don't bite.... Hard" Quinn joked and shot a smile to Camille to let her no she was joking with him. Quinn looked at Tobias and looked away.

"Oh, I would just love to bite all you loverly ladies!" Tobias said as he retracted his fangs and smiled them at the girls.

Quinn watched him with a smile. "Oh I would love it if you were to bite me" Quinn said with a smile. Quinn looked at Camille for a split second and knew she was now probably freaking out that this boy was a vampire.

Camille smiled at them and was about to joke about Tobias being the only third year boy when he retracted his fangs. Yes, fangs.

The boy had been a sweetie, very nice and she knew it was rude and the boy would probably get mad - something she definitely didn't want, seeing as he was, not only a seemingly good person, but a freakin vampire! -, but she couldn't help it. As soon as she saw the fangs, Camille's eyes widened and she got up from her seat, taking a step back.

Hyperventilating, she knew she was. One of her hands shot up to her neck.

"No, no, please, no. Don't bite me. No," she pleaded.

Quinn watched Camille Hyperventilate and asked him not to bite her. Quinn shot up and put her hands on her shoulders. "Camille, he's not going to bite you, we were only joking around Camille" Quinn tried to talk to her. "Camille he is a nice, hot bo-" Quinn turned to look at him. "Let's pretend I didn't call you hot, UGH damn it" Quinn said. Yeah she thought the boy was hot but no boy ever liked Quinn so she just shook it off.

Quinn looked at Tobias. "In the summer her and I were on top of the Eiffel Tower, we were talking when this vampire Sorin came and chased us. He almost sucked Camille dry until she took out her wand and we ran. The professor Scala, the creative arts teacher found us and healed her, Camille's been scarred, when she sees a vampire she does what she just did" Quinn explained to Tobias.

Tobias retracted his fangs back in.

"Don't worry, I would never bite anyone I like or who is nice to me. I'm only a half vampire so mostly my diet is food. As for Sorin, he was my mentor for a couple of years as he knew my dad. Back then he was a really decent vampire if you can believe me. He taught me everything from the good things and bad. I'm sorry for what he did to you both." Tobias said with a frown

"well thank you for saying I'm hot Quinn. May I return the favor!" Tobias said with a smile.

Emelie had been standing in the doorway quite some time, not making a sound. She finally walked in, mentally rolling her eyes at herself. Emelie Foss was, and had always been, a mess. Such an eavesdropper. That was her.

She hoped no one had noticed her, and quietly sat down.

Quinn saw him put his fangs back in and explain what Sorin was to him. "It's okay, I mean it wasn't because Camille does this everytime she sees a vampire, but it happened so fast that night, before I had time to react we were away from him" Quinn said to him. She put her arm around Camille's waist for support.

Quinn smiled at what he said next. "Well it is true and you most definitely can return the favor" Quinn smiled at him. Quinn heard someone come in and saw a girl take her seat. The girl thought she could be sneaky and enter a room without people knowing.

"Hi, I'm Quinn" Quinn introduced.

Nodding, Camille took another step back and removed Quinn's arms from around her, "I-I. . I'm sorry but I can't do this. Not right now, I just can't. I hope you understand, Tobias."

She gritted her teeth at the mention of the older vampire, "Do not talk about him in front of me, please, don't."

Looking around the classroom, she tried to find another place to sit. A part of her knew Tobias wouldn't hurt her, another part was yelling that he couldn't hurt her, since they were at school. But all this was just too fresh in her mind. She needed time to deal with that.

Seems like everywhere is full of vampires now, she thought, while spotting another Prideux girl sitting alone. She walked towards the girl and asked shyly, in a way that wasn't very much like she usually acted, "Do you mind if I sit?"

Camille moved Quinn's hand from around her and started saying she couldn't be near Tobias. Camille then didn't want to hear about Sorin. "I'm sorry Camille" Quinn apologized for mentioning his name. Quinn watched Camille walk over to the girl that came in just now. Quinn sighed and grabbed her stuff and sat next to Tobias.

"I'm really sorry about her, it's just that she is really afraid and she can hide it until she sees a vampire and then she does what she just did" Quinn apologized for Camille.

"It fine Quinn, I get it all the time. I think I'm way too use to it now. Anyway thanks for sitting next to me." Tobias said with a sad smile. He looked at Quinn and decided that she was quite stunning. Maybe it was a chance to actully get to know someone really well.

Quinn saw his sad smile. "Well just so you no, I'm not afraid of anything so you don't scare me and either does you no who" Quinn was talking about Sorin. "But he does scare her" Quinn nodded to Camille. Quinn looked at him and she decided that instead of pushing guys away from her, she will get to really no Tobias.

"I had to admitt, the first time I met him I ran away from him. The second thing i knew was that he chased me and caught me. My dad just laughed at me." Tobias said with a small laugh.

"My dad is a Pure blooded vampire wizard and my mum is just a pure blood witch. My father fell in love with her and he's still decideing if to change. I think if she died of old age it would kill my dad, But he will still have a piece of her in me I guess. What about your Family if you don't mind me asking?" Tobias asked Quinn.

Quinn laughed when he said he ran from him. "I won't lie and say that I did run from him but only to save Camille" Quinn told him. "Wow, so basically your dad set you up" Quinn smiled at his laugh. She had to admit it was cute.

Quinn listened to him talk about his family but she had to admit it was sweet that his father would change, Quinn wished her father was like that. When he asked her about her family she looked down and she had tears in her eyes, she didn't let them fall. She looked back at him. "My family is broken, my father was abusive and a drunk. My mom tried to protect me the best she could but couldn't. My mom finally had the descents to leave him when I was 8. I haven't seen him since" Quinn explained to Tobias. Her family was so screwed up it was horrible.

Tobias lifted his hand to touch her cheek. He could see the tears forming in her eyes.

"At Least you and your mom got away Quinn. Don't shed a tear over a man who was abusive to you and your mom." Tobias said as he swept a strand of hair from her face.

"You could say that my Dad set me up. It was like one time I throw paint at him when we were painting a room. He chased me around the house and some how I ended up running on the ceiling. He started bouncing up and down that I was finding my natural vampire powers. ou should of seen him. He was like a vampire on Drugs." Tobias said with another laugh, tring to make Quinn happy again.

When Tobias touched Quinn's cheek she felt that he cared about her. Quinn looked at him when he started talking. Quinn smiled when he swept a piece of hair from her face. "Yeah, but it's still horrible when I look back on it, my own dad was a bad person to my mom and me, but I'm glad that I'm not living in the same house with him anymore" Quinn told him.

Quinn laughed at that. "I would totally love to have seen that" Quinn said still laughing at what he said. She could imagine Tobias running on the ceiling and having his dad jumping up and down. Quinn had to admit that this brought a smile to her face.

"Well watch this!" He grabbed hold of Quinn by the waist and magicaly went on the ceiling. He held tight of her and hoped the professor didn't come in. He started to dance on the ceiling with her. He also started singing.

"Oh, what a feeling. When were dancing on the ceiling!" Tobias said as he danced with Quinn.

Before Quinn could say anything Tobias had her by the waist and was on the ceiling. Tobias held Quinn tight and she was glad that the professor wasn't in the room. Quinn laughed. "Oh my god, this is so amazing" Quinn said to him. Tobias was singing and she had to admit his voice was nice.

Quinn laughed at that. "You're crazy you no that right" Quinn smiled at him as she dance with Tobias.

"Well if you say so. I always love opinions." Tobias said with a smirk. He slowly turned them around and floated back down to the desk. He placed her back in her seat and Tobias sat down next to her. Tobias smirked at her and raised a eyebrow at her.
