Lesson One ~ 1st Years

Laurent entered the Domestics classroom, he wasn't quite sure what to except but was pretty excited to start. noticed he was the only person in the class, he then found a seat in the second row and sat down, and began looking around the room

Korrie walked into the classroom to see Laurent. "Laurent! What's up my only friend" Korrie giggled. Korrie took a seat next to him. "So you excited for this year, I no I am and you no what sucks we're in different houses. You still better be friends with me even though we're in different houses" Korrie joked with him and smiled.

Laurent smiled when he saw Korrie "Oh Korrie hey, I know right it totally sucks were not in the same house" Laurent said with abit of a frown

Laurent chuckled at her joking comment " I don't know.... I mean you are in Vallee, not the awesome house which is Prideux" Laurent said with a smirk

Korrie nodded when he greeted her but then she scoffed. "Okay say what you want, but I will seriously stand out the door of your common room and I will follow you everywhere until you're my friend again" Korrie smiled. "So are you ready for this year, I no I am" Korrie pointed to herself.

Laurent smiled at Korrie " Yeah im super ready for this year, I so can't wait to get started it's going to be the best" Laurent said with a grin

Artemis walked into his class. He seen that there was a bit more students. So he decided to start. “ I think it is best to start, that way you will finish in time. I am Professor Capulet. And as you know this is Domestics. You will learn how to sew your own clothes. Cook and other important thing that you will need to know in life.”

This was his first class teaching, so he was a little bit nervous. “ I would start the class by letting you introduce yourself to the class. But it seems like you know your classmates, so you could introduce yourself to me.”

Korrie smiled. "That's the spirit Laurent" Korrie laughed a little. She stopped when she heard someone come in. She turned to see the professor. Korrie shot an excited glance at Laurent and faced the front. Korrie listened to what he had to say. Of course she knew Laurent, they were friends. Korrie decided to speak up.

"Hello professor, my name is Korrie Johnson" Korrie introduced herself to the professor. She tapped Laurent and gestured for him to do the same.

Laurent was blown away by how attractive the Professor was, he was certainly glad he was taking this class

"Im Laurent Dubois, Professor Capulet" Laurent said with his best eluring smile, he then leaned closer towards Korrie and whispered to her

"Oh my god, they didn't mention anything about how cute the Professors would be" Laurent whipserd with a smirk

Artemis smiled. “ Hello Miss. Johnson and Mr. Dubois. Since this isn't a big class. I will get to know you both better.” He knew that this was going to be a good year, maybe a little bit difficult. Since this was his first year of teaching.

“ Let's talk about how important water is? Say anything you want.”

Laurent smiled as the Professor asked a question "Waters important because we use it in everyday life, there not a single day we don't use it. In a sense it dominants our lives" Laurent replied he could slowly begin to feel himself begining to blushing as he looked at the Professor

Korrie heard Laurent tell the teacher what his name was. Laurent then whispered he thought the professor was cute. Korrie tried not to laugh. "We come here for school and you come here to check out the professors" Korrie whispered to Laurent.

Korrie heard the professor ask how important water was then Laurent answered. By the end he was blushing. "Stop blushing" Korrie coughed out but she made it so Laurent heard. "Water is important because you use it to take a shower" Korrie answered.

Artemis smiled as he listened to both of the answer. “ Both of those were very good answer. You are right, we use water every single day. But I want to hear more about how water, how we use it everyday in our lives. Since this is going to be a small class, feel free to just say anything.”

He thought that maybe teaching wasn't going to be that hard after all. Maybe this was something that he was meant to do. “ I want you to tell me about how muggles would get water in a third world country?” Artemis was trying to get them to think.

Korrie thought about it for a minute then answered. "Back in the old days, muggles would get water from there lake or river that they had close to them" Korrie thought that was the answer. She was surprised that Laurent didn't answer the Question. Korrie just smiled.

Laurent thought for a moment he couldn't think how muggles in impoverished countries would get water. Korrie then said they would go to lakes or rivers Laurent nodded and smiled

"But would they have to walk like miles to find a lake or river, espcially since most third world countries are quite desert like" he remarked

Artemis smiled, he was glad that his first years where more into their lessons. “ Both very good points how some muggles have to work to water. And sometimes this water isn't fit to drink. That is why that it has to be purified.”

“Can either of you explain to me why water looks blue?”

Laurent bite his bottom lip at this question he remembered asking this question as a little kid but couldn't quite remember the answer it was so long ago

"Um.. im not sure if this is even right but isn't just a reflection or something, like it only looks blue because its reflecting the sky" Laurent said, he felt quite unsure of his answer

Korrie thought about it for a minute. She then raised her hand when she thought she knew the answer. "Water is clear but when the service it's in or on is blue the water looks blue because the water is actually clear and it reflects what ever it's in's color" Korrie remembered being in a blue pool and saw the water blue.

Artemis smiled. “ Both are correct answers.” He was running out of things that they could talk about. Maybe this is why he didn't think about being a professor. But he knew that he would have to think of something fast.

“ I don't have much but teaching about how important water is. And since you both seemed to know a lot about it. Why don't we use this time to get to know each other a little better. Since this is a small class. Ask any questions that you want.”

This seemed like it would be a good class the Professor was so relaxed not so formal, Laurent thought for a moment to see if there was any questions he wanted to ask

"Ah yeah I have one Professor Capulet, what was your previous job before this?" Laurent asked

Artemis smiled. He liked that he wasn't anything like his professors when he went to school. He guessed that he was doing everything that they didn't.

“ Nothing. I really didn't have a job before this one. I actually graduated from here. I was a student many years ago.”

Laurent was surprized to hear that the Professor didn't really have a job before this, he was begining to wonder how he got employed here

"Ah so Professor, do you have any formal qualifications? I mean most Professors here seem to have their masters in the subject" Laurent asked he was hoping he wasn't offending Professor Capulet, he just a very curious nature

Artemis knew that this one was a very curious person. But that is what made people interesting. And that made then better when they would ask more questions.

“ Did I go to school to learn how to clean and cook and sew. No. But I did help run the head of the Capulet Manor. Cooking for my brother and sisters.”

Laurent nodded at the Professor answer " Ah ok, so do you feel inferior around the other Professors seeming they are vastly more qualified than yourself" Laurent asked

Artemis started to laugh. “ Just because they are more qualified then me doesn't mean anything. I did got to a muggle school that was teaching cooking.”

Laurent smiled at the Professor answer "Well yes that makes sense I suppose" Laurent then leaned back in his chair, he didn't feel he needed to ask anymore questions
