Flying, Lesson 2; First Year

Certh soon made his way out onto the flying field where, before the holidays, he had learned simple flying techniques. The brooms were not out yet - which disappointed him a little. But he should have been thankful - the last time there had been brooms out he had lost his house 15 points, but nobody seemed to notice the drop.

The grass appeared rather green that day, wind was blowing - and Certh was leaning up against a tree that was located just nearest the area where they would be flying.

Jessica was already at the flying field, sitting on the grass and staring out at something in the distance. She couldn't quite place it, but there was definitely something about being outside that made her feel a bit strange. The wind was blowing her light brown hair out of her face.
"Hey," she grinned, standing up and brushing herself off.

Annabell walks onto the field and smiles, taking a deep breath. She looks at the other two slitherins and sighs slightly upset that she still has yet to make friends in her own house. She sits on the ground under the tree and looks down at the grass running her fingers through it lightly.

Certh appeared excited when he noticed Jessica was already there - he had never really felt that for anyone before, it was a rather rare emotion. He gave a slight smile back to her as his shoulder continued being pressed to the trunk and watched her get up. "Hey".

Footsteps could be heard behind him, and turned his head to see who it was: just a first year Huffleypuff who he did not really meet before - but he thought that he didn't need many friends at Hogwarts, so he just blinked once before turning his attention back to Jessica who was still in front of him.

Charlotte to the flying field, a bit unsure if she had done the right thing by coming back. They hadn't gotten the chance to fly the other class and, to be honest, she was quite glad. But at the same time, she knew she had to at least try it.

She saw Jessica, Annabell and the Slytherin boy there and waved. "Hey there," she greeted them with a small smile.

Annabell looks up and smiles sweetly, "Hello." She looks up at the tree and sees birds fluttering around chirping. She watches the other students and sighs out of boredom.

Aver sighed and she saw most of her class there, giving them all a small smile she hummed and she cleared her throat " Good afternoon class, today you'll be learning short distance flying." Aver said with an smile she wondered why everyone was talkitive today shrugging she looked at her class.

" Now before we begin one small question, what's the most important thing to do while flying?" Aver said she knew the question would be easy to answer she just wanted to make sure they didn't forget anything over the summer.
