Lesson Three First Years

Marcus came in the class room he looked his robe was dusty.Oh great this is bad he said. He sat down and looked in Standard Book of Spells Grade 1 he looked and looked at the other first years he looked mad he can't wait till he is a second year and then he could learn more spells. He looked and sat down.He held his wand and waited to know what spell they where doing.

Vivian was surprised to see the Gryffindor boy who had been late last time in the classroom. Before everyone else had arrived, ironically. Strange how that worked. Shrugging, she sat in front of the boy in her usual row and sent a small smile back at him.

"How's it feel to be on time, hmm?" she said jokingly, her smile stretching to a brilliant grin. "I'm Vivian by the way."

Marcus looked it feels good.Marcus looked i cant wait to see my dad this summer.Also my name is Marcus Hawthorn but call me Marcus.Marcus held his book and wand.

Vivian laughed lightly. "Does it?"

She grinned, almost a perfect replica of the Cheshire Cat, and echoed him teasingly, "Call you Marcus when your actual name is Marcus. Seems obvious, doesn't it? I'll call you Marc then, just to shake things up a little."

"Your name's Hawthorn?" she blinked and shook her head. "Mine has an 'e' at the end. My ancestor was Nathaniel Hawthorne. You know, that writer who was a transcendentalist or something along with his wife... do you know? Anyways, don't ask me how his name survived for that long. It's a common name though so it could possibly have been coincidental."

Marcus looked ah oh him you know Aragorn right im his younger brother were is everyone wanna be friends he asked. My brother is friend with a Slytherin and he is a Ravenclaw i think it is bloody foolish.Marcus tighten his tie he was little unorganized today.His tie was loose he had rough morning his sweater was wrinkled.The only things that were fine wwas his robe and pants.

Vivian shrugged and leaned back in her chair, propping her feet up on the desk. "Aragorn? Seen him in the common room once or twice. I'm a Ravenclaw too, you know. I'm not much of one though, I assure you."

She laughed bitterly at this and continued with her usual happy tone, "Sounds like somebody's jealous. Tired of living in your brother's shadow? I know the feeling..."

Marcus looked well i like Quiditch and he thinks its a waste of time.My dad is Lucas Akoas Hawthorn Auror.I live in a Shack.

Vivian smiled amiably and nodded. "Quidditch is a debated sport. I hate it, but one of my friends adores it. We constantly bicker over it, actually."

She winced when he told her about his living situation. "A shack? Metaphorically speaking or are you being literal?"

Marcus looked i want to live in a mansion i used to till my adopted father died.Now i have to live there with my dad. I'm used to the perfect life living in a huge mansion with a meadow so i wanna buy my dad a mansion.

Sergiy made his way towards the towards the classroom, and slowly. Saw two people, his wand was in his right hand side of his sleeve, and he had his book bag over his back. He was annoyed, pissed and angry. Eva was going to die at her second year and there was not a damn fucking thing he can do about. Man how he wanted to swear. he slowly sat down on the chair and got out a book.

Marcus looked at Sergiy dude calm down. Like he wanted to see Sergiy blow. He held his wand and looked at Sergiy and looked at Vivan. Marcus tighten his robe and sat back. Where is the Professor.

Vivian smiled sympathetically. "I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you get to buy that mansion, Marc."

She then looked briefly towards Sergiy when Marcus told him to relax. It wasn't wise to talk to someone when they were that wound up. Vivian shrugged absently and jumped a little in shock when Marcus pulled out his wand.

"Hey, let's not start shooting spells now," Vivian held up her hands weakly and offered a dazzingly smile to calm the boy. "Save it for the class, okay? Professor Miller will be he soon, he's always punctual."

Marcus looked at Vivan.We already lost Victoria this year we cant lose anymore people.I''m practiceing a charm. Marcus looked with his brown hair all clean.Marcus looked what is the lesson today he asked. Marcus looked at the tie he had on this tie looks like how they looked in 1998.Marcus looked in Defense Against the Dark Arts Sergiy tried to cast a spell on Creth.It wasnt pretty. Hey after this class wanna go to the Clock Tower Courtyard and calm Serg down. My brother befreind a Slytherin. Marcus looked he looked at his two friends.

Lenora walked into the class and looked around. Three students were here and that was better then nothing. Lenora walked to the front of the classroom. "Welcome back everyone" Lenora told them. "Okay so today we will be working on the spell incendio, can anyone tell me what it does" Lenora asked her students.

Vivian shrugged at Marcus, mindlessly flipping her braid around her finger as she replied, "No, I can't, sorry. The Clock Tower's... not a good place for me. Plus, Mythie can handle himself, don't you worry about him."

She looked up when the professor came in and smiled at her. She was one of the nicest professors she had. In response to her question, Vivian raised her hand and explained, "Incendio is a fire spell, right? It makes flames come out of your wand."

Oversleeping sucks, Charlotte thought as she ran to Charms. She'd slept so late the night before and had woken up extremely tired that it ended up being hard for her not to take a nap between one class and another. But her ten-minute nap turned into a thirty-minute one and now she was late.

"I'm- sorry- for being late- professor," she said when she got to the door, taking some time to breathe. Charlotte walked in and took a random seat, grabbing her textbook and wand out.

"Oh hey, Charlotte," Vivian sent a wide smile back at the girl.

"We're talking about the spell Incendio," she explained. "Any ideas as to what it does? I already guessed."

Charlotte smiled back at Vivian and waved, saying a quiet 'hello' so the teacher wouldn't think she was chatting in class. She had already been late, after all.

When her fellow Ravenclaw explained what they were talking about, Charlotte perked up. "Fire," she replied, almost automatically, "It sets things alight, doesn't it?"

He looked at them and spoke as the teacher came and asked."Yes, what they said it does set things on fire. While mostly it sets things on fire on what you cast it on." He said calmly, looking at Viv and Char happily.

Lenora looked at the girl who answered. "Correct, 15 points to Ravenclaw" Lenora nodded. She stopped to see a girl walk in late. "Okay, you have 5 points getting taken from you since you came in late then 15 since you're correct. Same thing with you, 15 points to Hufflepuff" She said.

"On another note. Today we will be doing this spell" Lenora passed out paper balls. "Okay, I would like you to set these on fire, using the spell incendio. If you don't get it the first try it's okay" Lenora told the group of kids. "You may begin" she told them.

Vivian smiled as she was awarded the points and then grinned brightly to Charlotte with her 15 points as well. She then looked down at the paper ball that had been placed on her desk. Taking out her wand, the Ravenclaw studied the ball, as if daring it to be inflammable.

"Incendio," she said confidently, tipping her wand down at the paper. The ball suddenly erupted with flames and Vivian leapt backwards in her seat, practically falling out of it.

"Uhh... Professor Malfoy!" Vivian looked up fearfully at the teacher. "I may have... overdone it."

Experimentally, the Ravenclaw held out her wand and made a sharp gesture down towards the floor. The fire on the paper ball suddenly died down significantly, only a few flames left licking at the edges of the ball.

Serena Middleton a First year Slytherin was late to class as normal. Without a word she sauntered into the Charms class room and took the first seat she saw. She looked around the class room and yawned. This class was already boring. ‘When would it be time to go outside and dress up Socks?’ she wondered silently with a sigh and propped her elbow up on the desk resting her doll like face in the delicate hand and closed her eyes. This was the perfect time to take a nap, or so the young girl thought.

He looked around and saw the teacher, as she spoke he listened so it was the Fire spell. Well this should be a piece of cake. He sighed and took out his wand, he slowly and gently waved and spoke in a soft voice."Incendio" on the the Paper ball, and the paper ball angered in flames. HE looked at the teacher and spoke."I did it?" He asked the teacher.

Jayden walked in " I'm late oh man " Jayden sat down and started to looked at the bored. " Professor didnt Gergory Goyle cast that when the battle happen in 1998?" Jayden looked he held his book and grinned at the boook. Jayden looked a slytherinw as here. Jayden sat down in the front.

Isabella walked in she was mad she was late for one class here dad would be mad at here.Isabella sat by Serena and Charlotte. " Isnt Icendio the thing that Malfoy and his friends casted on Ron and Harry and Hermonie. Isabella hoped she wasnt making a fool out of herself. Isabella sat and mineded her own probelms.
