Lesson 4 2nd years

Belinda walked into History of Magic and looked around. This was her first time being in this class and it was so new to her. Belinda took a seat in the middle of the class room. She looked around the class and nodded her head. This class didn't look that bad in her eyes.

Bridget walked into the class and saw Belinda. She was surprised Valerie wasn't here. Valerie and Belinda usually take the same classes together sometimes. Bridget took a seat. "Hey, surprised Valerie isn't here also" Bridget told Belinda. Bridget was probably one of the people that can tell them apart.

Airiana slipped into class with her hair pulled into a side braid. Before she came to this class, she'd stepped into the bathroom and tied it up so that it wouldn't be in the way. It was way too long but she refused to cut it. She liked it this way.

She looked around the room and took a seat near the back. In two years, she hadn't made a friend at this school. So she didn't have anyone to sit with yet. She pulled an unused notebook out of her bag and followed it up with the HoM book that she didn't know if she needed to use or not.

While Bridget was waiting for Belinda to reply, Bridget heard someone else come in. Bridget turned to look to see a Slytherin come in. Bridget saw her sitting by herself. Bridget sighed. "If you want, Belinda and I won't mind you coming over to sit with us, it gets pretty boring being alone" Bridget said to the girl.

"Oh, uhm, thanks that would be very nice." Airiana said as she looked up at the other two girls. They were Hufflepuffs, but she could live. She wasn't prejudice against any house. She gathered her belongings and stood up, walking over to join the girls. She sat down cautiously, smiling as she said, "I'm Airiana."

Belinda watched as the other girl came over and smiled. "Nice to meet you Airiana, I'm Belinda" Belinda said to her. "If you don't mind me asking, why do you like to sit by yourself" Belinda asked her. She used to do that but not anymore.

"I don't really know anyone," Airiana mumbled. "So I'm sort of too scared to sit anywhere else." She admitted the last bit unashamedly even though her eyes remained on the table. She chewed on her inner lip silently as she waited for them to laugh at her.
