Xaria ran out to the hunting and physical education area, a massive grin on her face as she came to a halt, skidding her feet across the ground. She'd been meaning to try out her new trainers anyway, and she didn't know of any better time to do that than now.

She looked around. No-one, again. With a sigh, she sat back on the ground and pulled at a loose thread on her shirt. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, so much so that it was starting to hurt her head. It was tighter than tight, in honesty, and with a quick yank it fell down her back in its usual dead straight fashion. Ugh. Sometimes, just sometimes, Xaria hated her hair.

The last time she'd had the class, no-one had come. Not even the professor, which sucked, since she was looking forward to it a heck of a lot...

There was something about the outdoors that made the girl feel free. Like she could run for miles and miles, not chained up. Not stuck with her auntie. Not confined to her room... And whose idea was it to paint her old room pink anyway?!
