Lesson 1 Second Years

Iris sat back and put her arms on the desk. This is exciting. I would want to know more about my sign and what really is my personality thatt I don't get.

I wonder if the Astrological signs from Muggle newspapers are any different from the ones Professor will be teaching, she thought. She sighed, crossed her arms and sat back.

"Last year I taught you all about the basics of Astrology. Just to make sure that everyone kept my lessons fresh in their brains. We're going to discuss what I taught you last year." She began eyeing each of her students.

"Can someone give me one major tool used in Astrology?"

Though Alexis wasn't in her class last year, she thought she knew the answer. She raised her hand and said, 'Birthchart, Professor?'

Iris thought what the muggles did. "Uhm, tarot cards professor?"

Tobi heard the other replies and thought they were good but he thought they were missing a most important aspect. "The sky Professor? I think the sky is the most important because Astrology isn't just they telling of our lives it is in its broadest sense, the search for meaning in the sky. Without the sky and the alignments of the planets and the stars then there would not be Astrology."

"Sorry I'm late Professor," Char said as she entered the classroom. It was her first time taking this class and she couldn't help but be excited. She took a seat, hoping the Professor wouldn't kick her out, took out a piece of parchment and swiftly began to write all the notes that were on the board and that were being said.

Iris knocked on the door and walked into the class. "Good morning Professor, and I'm so sorry I'm late. I got my class timings mixed up." Hoping that the Professor would excuse her the first time, Iris took a seat next to Alicia.
