Lesson Two - second years

Professor Minerva waited until her pupil had come to the front of the class. "Alright," she said. "Be at the ready." A wave of her wand conjured a rain of flowers, another accompanied by the cry "Oppugno!"" made them zoom at her pupil in full force. If they broke through his shield, it at least wouldn't hurt, if they didn't there would be an extra 10 points for Hufflepuff and then the other students could see how important a Protego charm could be, just like she told her first years daily.

Belle had been making notes all through class, and her head quickly snapped upwards when she asked for a volunteer. She wanted to, but it was best to observe and spot the common flaws, and then try to avoid them. She watched the Professor's wand movement carefully, biting her lip and playing absent mindedly with her quill.

Tobi watched as the Professor yelled "Oppugno" and some flowers came hurtling towards him. He threw his arm out and yelled "Protego" and hoped that it worked when the flowers got to him.

Professor Minerva smiled upon seeing the flowers bump against her pupil's shield. Another wave of her wand dissolved them. "Right, end of class for now. We'll continue next lesson."
