Lesson three H&PE Y2

Asric apparated straight onto the grounds with minutes to spare on his lesson. He was in a very good mood today, maybe it had something to do with his date early this morning. He smiled to himself before turning into his wolf form and sitting down on the grass to wait for his students to arrive.

Alexis arrived at the lesson in a light jog, for sort of a warm up. She stopped a few feet away as she saw the wolf. Wolves are intelligent creatures, she knew, but here, at this moment, too much of a coincedence. So she ventured, 'Hello Headmaster Chaos.'

"Right in todays lesson we will be talking about hiding places and their uses. Obviously different locations have different hiding spots but for today we will work with specific locations starting with a forest." He said glancing down at his watch.

"Now can anyone name a good spot to hide in a forest?" He asked.

'Depends on who I am hiding from.' Alexis said, 'But in general on a tree, using the branches as cover. Or a deep enough groove in a tree trunk, for temporary cover?'

He nodded. "That is correct, because it does depend on who you are hiding from. Some animals though don't have the ability to climb tree so you were right to suggest it. However some do and believe it or not it's safer to stay on the ground. Can you tell me why?" He asked

'Cause if I climb the tree and the animal climbs behind me, I'll be cornered?' Alexis asked.

He nodded. "Exactly, turn your back on a predator and you are a gonner. You need to stand your ground and fight its the only chance you have of survival. Obviously you would never enter such a dangerous place without having at least some sort of weapon on you. So bareing in mind what you did last lesson, when come face to face with an animal what would you do first?" He asked rolling up his sleeves.

'Go for the kill.' Alexis answered at once. 'Block it airway, or cut off a vital artery.'
