First Date (Iris and Hades)

"What do you mean for summer or forever" Hades asked confused.

"I meant after we leave Hogwarts forever." Iris replied. "You ever think what's going to happen then? Sometimes when I think about it, I wonder how long it's going to take to get used to live on our own without the protection of this place." She shrugged and smiled sheepishly. "I guess I'm over thinking things, huh?"

"No your not, I think about that sometimes. I always thought about after I leave school that I will have to find a job and house, but the great thing that comes out of it is that I will not be alone. Sooner or later I will find a wife and we will be happy and we will have kids running around" Hades smiled at the thought. "There is no need of you to worry, until then I promise I will protect you Iris" told her honestly.

Putting her arms around Hades, she mumbled against his neck, "That sounds amazing. Whoever gets to spend that life with you will be truly lucky. But until then, you're mine."

Hades chuckled. "So that means we're official" Hades asked hoping.

"Yes 'cause there's no way I'm letting another girl take you away now that you met me." Iris grinned, not bothering to let go of him. She liked holding him; made her feel like he'll stay with her forever. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this happy and she was glad that Hades was the reason.

"Good because no other girl is going to have me just like with you, no other boy will take you from me" Hades held her tighter but not to tight to hurt her.

"Nah, I'll just hex anyone into oblivion if they try take me away from you," Iris grinned. She took a moment to observe Hades' under the moonlight. She loved the way his features were lightened and the smile he wore. She loved his messy hair and running her hands through it.

"What are you thinking about, right now?" She asked him softly, looking into his eyes.

Hades chuckled at that. "I'm thinking about how I'm on one of the best dates in my life, I'm with the prettiest girl in Hogwarts, and I'm glad she agreed to be my girlfriend. I have everything I could possibly want right here" Hades smiled at her.

"Just my luck that I ended up with a guy who has probably gone on lots of dates 'cause of his dashing good looks," Iris teased him and laughed. "I'm not the prettiest, you're just saying that 'cause you're my boyfriend now." She grinned. "Well, your stuck with me forever so you kinda got no choice but to be with me."

"I was only on a couple of dates and I'm not just saying that, I mean it. None of those other girls will catch my eye, just incase you thought i would cheat, I swear i won't" Hades replied.

Not knowing what to say, Iris kissed Hades softly. "I never thought you would," she said with a small smile. "And just so you know, I won't cheat on you either, I promise. And I believe you."

Running her fingers through his hair, she said, "Tell me something about yourself you haven't told anyone else."

"Well don't judge but when I was 9 my mom was really sick she was throwing up and everything and I had to take care of her. My friend Billy and his parents were out of town so I broke into his house and took money to pay for medicine for my mom. I told my mom that I took money from my savings but I lied" Hades looked at Iris. "You don't hate me do you" asked Hades.

"I understand why you did it; it was a desperate situation," Iris replied. "At least got well again, right? Didn't Billy's parent's find out that you stole the money?" She asked. "And no, I don't hate you. I think it's sweet that you would resort to anything to help your mom." She smiled and hugged Hades.

"No they knew someone broke in but i never told anyone it was me... What about you, tell me something no one else no's" Hades asked

"My parents abandoned me right after I was born." Iris stated quietly, not looking at Hades. "I don't know why they did but they just placed me at the front steps of some random house; at least that's what those people told me. I don't even remember what they look like or even their names! And ever since then, I've been living with different adoptive parents 'cause no one was willing to keep me for more than a couple of years." She closed her eyes and sighed. "Coming to Hogwarts is the best thing that's ever happened."

Hades lifted her head with his finger. "Hey, it's okay, I never knew my dad either if that makes you feel any better" said Hades.

"Nope, it just makes me feel worse." Iris replied with a bitter smile. "Because it makes me think if we're so bad that our parents can't even bother to be around us even for a little while." She hated the fact that she missed her parents sometimes, even though she knew she has every right to hate them if she wants. "I just wish I knew why they did it." She said softly. She looked at Hades and asked him, "You won't leave like that, will you?"

"Baby I will never leave you, if u promise u won't leave"Hades asked.

"Nope darling, you ain't getting rid of me that easy," Iris winked at Hades. "I feel like flying but I didn't get my broom," she told. "Alright, what do you want to do?"

"Mmm, idk" Hades kissed her after that.

Iris kissed him back and giggled after pulling away. "Did any girl ever tell you that your kisses are addictive?" She asked him and grinned. "Come on, we'll go for a walk," she said and pulled him up. "Alright, ask me something...anything."

"Okay, have you ever liked a girl that is not a celebrity" asked Hades smiling.

"Well, considering the fact that I got friends here, I'd have to say yes." Iris replied. "Um...you meant girls who are not celebrities, like the ones here at Hogwarts, right?"

"Yes" Hades replied.
