Meeting the Ravens

"That is something, isn't it." Barzini said casually and popped another marshmallow into his mouth.

"Of course, sometimes, muggle-borns do things better than us."

"I suppose being here is better than being back with my widowed dad and the bullies at my old school," Maria sighed. "It's a lot better, actually. But it's not usually like that, especially with the Slytherins. They hate Muggle-borns, no?"

Emily listened to Maria before saying. ''Not all the Slytherins are like that. I met some in class and they were nice enough.''

"I agree with Emily! For most of them anyway, but not everyone have the same beliefs." Barzini said and wiped his hands with tissues before getting up to acquire Butterbeers from his bag.

Maria sighed. "I'll give you that. I haven't had much luck."

Leah took a marshmallow, dipped it in chocolate, and popped it in her mouth. "That's delicious. Well, I have to go. I guess I'll see you all around. Bye."

Leah stood up and left after receiving good byes.

Barzini looked at the retreating professor and nodded, egging on his fellow friends to continue feasting.

Maria sat back. "No thanks. Though I will use them with my sushi."
