Lesson Two - First Years.

Andria entered the familiar classroom with the usual teaching and light mood of hers. Sure, she missed Hogwarts and the rest of its wonderful students, but there's nothing like being back and finally going to teach again. And she did have a revised lesson plan to go with it. Much like to her interest and what she thought of her students would look forward to. None mattered besides having that active participation in her classes all throughout. With no student out of placed and having the time all alone.

The lady took a deep breath for a start and settled her things on the desk. She took one look at the empty room and decided to clean just a bit once she had noticed that the floor seemed dusty. Maybe the elves were on break too. She wouldn't mind.

Drawing her wand out, she non-verbally made the brooms from a far closet go out and started to clean the pavement all by themselves. Every now and then making brushing sounds and moving with a selfless mind.

Storm walked to dueling class. She'd been looking forward to the next lesson since the last one.
"Hello Professor Fallen," she said as she entered the classroom. Her jaw dropped when she saw brooms cleaning the floor. She'd never seen anything like it, being muggleborn, so it was very new and exciting to Storm.
"Wow," she whispered to herself. "Amazing."

Walking into Duelling, she almost crashed into the red head blocking the doorway. Peaking over her shoulder, she glanced at the brooms that the girl seemed enthralled in. Raising an eyebrow, she nodded, whispering in her ear, "True, they are amazing, but do you think you can admire them at your desk and let me in?"

Alyssa walked towards the dueling classroom, slowing when she see's two girls in her year and house standing in the doorway. The brown haired girl says something in the red heads ear, and then they walk into the classroom. Coming up to the door she sees what made them stop short. The class was being swept by brooms, normal right? Except the brooms where moving of their own accord. Walking into the class, she stalled in the doorway only shortly, to say, "Hello! I totally love magic!! Its amazing isn't it? Even growing up with it, it still amazes me sometimes!" Then she takes an empty desk.

Andria turned to look at the bunch of girls who just came and they were quite stuck at the doorway. She smiled warmly and welcomed them with a kind greeting,

"Ah yes. Younger ones would always be amazed. Somehow. Come in please so we can start off with the lesson I had in mind. After we wait for the others to come. Just a tiny bit of waiting. And oh, you can continue with your conversation once you get inside. I don't mind at all."

She flicked her wand again after she decided that's enough cleaning for one day and returned it to her pocket. She looked again at the students and gestured them that it was now all right to come inside once the cleaning materials have been locked up in the back closet.

Hearing what the teacher made her smile, other kids might have been upset that she called them young, but Alyssa knew she looked much younger than she really was, and that she was often underestimated, much to her foes missfortune.
"What are we going to learn about today, Professor? When do we get to learn how to duel with elemental spells?" She was nearly vibrating with excietment, and her smile was hudge and contagious.

As he was entering the classroom, he took his time to take off his glasses and mess his hair more. Cocky, yes, that would be a perfect word to describe him. He casted one of his bad boy/vampire scary looks around the girls in the classroom, looking at all of them, and one in particularly, their professor.

"Miss Fallen", he greeted her politely.

Andria nodded at the Slytherin who arrived and gave him a compliment. Much with his looks, she had to at least try to be amused of his appearance,

"Welcome, lad. And your name is? Charming look, by the way. Though we can need that kind in Dueling still. To of course, distract the opponent."

The lady kidded and gave a small laugh, she turned towards the rest who were taking their seats and started with hint of the lesson. Well, not much a of a clue anyway,

"Nothing much. We'll just start with Stupefy, first. Now who can tell me what it does?"

"Reinhardt, Dimitri Clay", he told her, smiling awkwardly. "Miss."

Alyssa's hand went up first, but not too quickly. She didnt want to seem to eager.

Finally snaking her way past the redhead, Savannah sat down quickly, rolling her eyes at the ridiculously upbeat and cheery Hufflepuff who raised her hand. Of course, she knew the answer, but she wasn't going to raise her hand, seeing as Professor Fallen hadn't complained when they'd answered without raising their hands last class.

Smiling up at her, she answered, "Stupefy is the stunning spell. It makes a person go unconscious."

The eye-roll wasnt lost on Alyssa, she noticed way more than people thought. She hated that people always looked down on her as if she was a small child, just because she looked younger than she really was didnt mean anything. But she wasnt going to let it get her down. She just smiled at the girl for getting the answer right, and lowered her hand.

Andria nodded gently at the students' answers appreciatively, knowing that they really knew and that made them brilliant. For a bunch of first years that is. She spoke again, this time more anxious about the plans she had made, and instructed the young ones on what to do next,

"Since you all knew the spell very well, then let's proceed with the next part of our lesson. And ten points for Gryffindor for that. Also five for Hufflepuff since she knew the answer too." she paused and stopped short in front of the class,

"The usual thing. Partner up and let's get to the practicing."

Alyssa stood up, she didnt know any of these kids, so she kind of just stood there. She wasnt sure who to ask.

Nodding at Professor Fallen, Savannah realized that partnering with the Hufflepuff would be a very bad idea. Walking towards the boy she recognized from Flying, she smiled at him, "Do you want to be partners?"

"Sure, Savannah, right?", he asked, smiling slightly to her and messing with his hair some more. Great, more trouble, the boy thought, cursing in his head for making so many friends he could possibly hurt with his vampire side. It's all good, he concluded, looking at his bitten wrist. I managed to control it with J.J. and she's the only one with blood that sings to me. This will be easy.

Storm walked casually over to the Hufflepuff. She was the only one standing, and seemed nice enough.
"Partners?" she asked.

Nodding, she agreed, "Right. I'm Savannah. You're Dimitri, correct?" Rolling her eyes as he messed up his hair, she shook her head. Ugh, he seemed ridiculously cocky. What does JJ see in him?

Following his gaze down to his wrist, she frowned slightly, noticing the bite marks on it. Flicking her gaze back up to his face, she decided to keep quiet. His problems didn't matter to her.

"Yeah, that's right. So, how you've been Savannah? Do you have a nickname? Your name is very long", he said in a joking manner. "I'm kidding. It's a pretty name, really."

He was feeling slightly silly as she looked at his wrist and then looked away. She doesn't know anything, he assured himself. How could she know that you are a vampire? Don't be stupid, not all people are curious or paranoid.

"Oh! One last reminder, students. For any cause, we should avoid the incident of being stunned. Surely, neither of us want that. But for this practice, you can cast the spell on the opponent or each other. It's your goal to shield away from the spell as hard as you can. Be productive and find ways. Am I making sense?"

Andria asked a reminder to the students as to not harm anyone. It would all be her fault if that happened. And that was the very least thing that she would ever want.

Alyssa looked at the Gryffindor, "Yeah! That'd be great!" She said hapily, she hadn't been sure if she would have a partner, "My names Alyssa, but you can call me PJ or Lyssa! What's your name?"

"I've been well," she shrugged, then smiled at his compliment. Now she was beginning to realize what JJ liked about him. If he was like this all the time, it wouldn't be hard to forget his cockiness.

"Thank you. I like your name too." Smiling again, she turned towards Professor Fallen as she spoke. Nodding in agreement, she turned back to Dimitri, "You should know, I'm not going to make this easy for you."

"Oh, I'm Storm," Storm said. It would probably be OK, she thought to herself. "So, stupefy, huh?"

Vincent tore the door open and barging through the middle of the room and stopped directly in front of the professor he breathed heavily and spoke swiftly

"Sorry Professor for being late and sorry for missing your first class, I've had family issues... What can I do to make up for it?" He took a step back feeling the eyes of all the other students on his back he concentrated on what the professor was about to say.

"Hm. Well, to make up for it you're already here. Nothing wrong about it, lad. And since you've made every effort to show up, you're always welcome. Reprimanding is not really my thing. And that's for you to know." Andria explained with a smile towards the Ravenclaw and gestured for him be with the other students. Repeating the procedure is just like breathing to her.

She pointed at the other group and spoke kindly, "We're just partnering up to practice the stunning spell. And I think you already know that. Join the others and get yourself a Dueling companion."

The lady merely nodded and continued to smile. She rested herself on top of the front desk and watched her active first years do the work patiently and admiringly.
