Lesson Two - First Years.

He smiled lucky that he had gotten off easily, he turned on his heel and faced the other students.

they were already partnered and there was no one left, he noticed one other boy so headed toward him, he stood in front of him and his partner. He stuck his hand out
"vincent furtell, may I join?"

Had he made the right decision? Should he have asked the teacher?

Glancing over at the boy who walked over to her and Dimitri, she shrugged, shaking his hand, "Savannah Lerran,"

Should she let him join? It wouldn't kill her, and besides, it could be fun. Smirking, she answered, "Sure, it gives me more people to beat,"

Alyssa was about to answer when a Ravenclaw boy came barging into class, he stoped to talk to the teacher, so she turned back to Storm.

"Yeah! It seems easy enough, and these spells are always fun! So...do you want to start or should I?"

"I can start, unless you really wanted to," said Storm. Shouldn't be too hard.

Olivia cursed under her breath as she entered the class and realized she was really late. "So sorry Professor but I signed up late and I sort of lost my way." She apologized. "I hope it's okay if I stay still."

"You know Savannah, I'm all about challenges", he thought, smiling at her lightly. He had nothing to fear in this class, for their real age difference he was probably more experienced than them, but rusty on the bases, that's why Kieran made him go back to school and lied about his age. Maybe this was the day when he'll get stunned by someone 4 or 5 years junior to him, or maybe he'll just remember all the spells he hadn't used for ages.

A boy approached them and looked a bit jealous. As Savannah introduced herself, he decided that it would be polite of him if he behaves, so he did the same, and after shaking hands finally, Dimitri got back to messing with he's own hair.

Crossing her arms, Savannah raised an eyebrow in Dimitri's direction, smirking, "Yeah, sure. We'll see about that, won't we?"

Laughing, she shook her head, glancing back at Vincent.

He never usually did this to fellow students but thought 'lets see reaction times'

He was pleaded they had accepted him and loved a challenge

He gave an aggressive stance took two lightning quick steps back, while his wand shot out from his sleeve. He pointed it at savannah and said "stupefy" as the spell shot from his wand he did the same to dimitri.

He hoped they were ready, he only noticed the girl come in. Oh god! What had he just done, started dueling right when a perfectly good partner enters!

"Wha....?" She'd been watching him. Not a creepy sort of watching, but she had been looking in his direction. So why had it taken her so long to realize what he was doing? As he stepped backwards, Savannah had frowned, a curious expression on her face. When he'd pointed his wand in her direction, she'd barely had a second to react before she ducked. The beam of light barely passed her, and she could feel it fly overhead.

Sitting on the floor, she smirked up at Vincent. Nice one. Even she had to admit that. Attack when your opponent's distracted. Pulling her wand from her pocket, she stood up, rocking back and forth on her feet before gripping the wand tighter. Concentrating, she flicked her wand at Vincent, "Stupefy,"

As he watched Savannah duck, he smirked she dodged it

He smiled widely with joy when she stood and pointed her wand at him this was going to be fun

All his previous knowledge of dueling sprung to mind, but he pushed it all aside and as Savannah said Stupefy one word came to his smiling mouth

"Protego" as he said it he swung his wand to block her oncoming attack, he used the momentum to leap to the side and facing her at a different angle said "stupefy"



He had made the right choice, this girl turned out to be more fun than he expected

This was fun. Though Savannah hoped Professor Fallen wouldn't be angry if they accidently destroyed something. Smirking at the thought, she snapped her attention back to Vincent, nodding approval as he shielded himself from her spell. It wouldn't be as fun if he made it too easy.

But Savannah had experience on her side. After all, her mother worked for the Ministry, and her father had been a Healer and a member of Protectores Mundi, so she knew the basics of defending herself. Hoping that that would actually help her, she turned slightly as he leaped to the side.

As soon as she heard him say 'Stupefy', she was already swishing her wand, "Protego,"

Smiling with satisfaction as her shield blocked the attack, she didn't waste any time, quickly shifting to her left to aim at Vincent, "Stupefy,"

He was overjoyed and impressed with how quickly and elegantly savannah had blocked his attack, he was being a real show off now, trying to make it more fun and enjoyable.

He swiftly uttered "protego" as he blocked her move, he then leapt onto the nearest desk grabbed a pencil on the desk at threw it with great force directly at her face. He then dropped from the table and yelled "Stupefy"

He then grabbed a chair and spun it round sitting casually... he was being cocky now, but it was so much fun

He was mental. That was the only way Savannah could justify him throwing a pencil at her. Was he trying to kill her? What if she hadn't been able to get out of the way? Then she would've ended up with a pencil in her eye and it would be all his fault.

Ducking both the pencil and his spell, she heard the pencil clatter to the stone floor behind her. Taking a deep breath, she stood back up. And there he was sitting on a chair. Shaking her head at the cockiness that the Ravenclaw possessed, she held her wand up to his face, glaring, "Are you trying to kill me?" she demanded, eyes narrowing, "I could've had my eye poked out, and all because you find it fun to throw around sharp objects!"

Belinda walked into the dueling classroom late. "I'm so sorry professor, I kinda got lost" Belinda gave her apology and took a seat at an empty table.

Andria watched one partnered group and felt an overwhelming expression of being proud of her students for their abilities and strong will to work their way in the routine. She gazed at the others who were having a hard time encouragingly, and smiled at the girl who just entered. She gestured towards the other students so she can find a suitable partner to have a Duel with.

"Go on, lass. You can be part of the activity. And may I know your name?" The lady asked kindly and gently.

Alyssa smiled at the girl, "Yeah! Go ahead and start!" She was excited, that much was obvious, she pulled her wand out of her sleve, and got ready to cast protego.

He gave a short applause and replied with a smile
"i knew you could handle it, you can't fight inside the square... as I was told"
He shot his hand out and knocked savannahs wand from her hand, he pushed his chair forward as the rattle of her wand was heard, he jumped forward and pushed her to the ground holding his wand aimed at her face, he said in a calm voice

"you have to use everything in your arsenal and your surroundings if you want to win"
He let her absorb her defeat and offered his hand to help her get up.

Storm half smiled and pulled out her wand. She aimed it at the girl, and decided it was worth a try.
"Ready?" she asked, not waiting for an answer. "Stupefy!"

Raising an eyebrow, she continued to glare at him as he clapped. Oh sure, the compliment was nice, but the smugness that accompanied it was not.

Before she had a chance to tell him that, he'd forced her wand out of her hand and sent her crashing into the floor. Hissing slightly as her head hit the stone floor, her eyes snapped open, shooting daggers at him. Ignoring his outstretched hand, she dove for her wand, standing up shakily, "Stupefy," she snarled, rubbing the back of her head with her free hand.

Alyssa was ready when Storm cast the spell, "Protega," once the spell hit off the sheild she said, "Stupefy!" she said the second it was possible.

Storm wasn't at all surprised when Alyssa tried to stun her. She'd been expecting it all along. She was ready for it.
"Protego," she said, and immediately continued. "Stupefy."

Alyssa saw the spell coming, then with super speed she doged and ran around Storm, not at full speed, so she wasnt a blur, just fast.
"Stupefy!" she said, then in case Storm couldnt put up a sheild fast enough, she got ready to cast it for her.

Andria clapped her hands in amusement for her stupendous students and as the signal that the time was up for the lesson. She sighed in disappointment that it would be over already, but remained positive that there's always another bunch that she can look forward to on the next years to teach and that there's still further lessons coming up after the half term.

"All right! I am very glad for all you that you did your best this day, and what an excellent job! Expect high points for those worthy enough to be given and to those who participated actively." She announced with enthusiasm and smiled at her students, "Now off you go, my first years. And I do hope that I'll see you very soon after the half term."

Over? Savannah frowned, giving Vincent one last glare before turning towards Professor Fallen. She didn't really want to leave. This was fun, especially if Vincent got hurt in the process. Stowing her wand in a pocket of her robe, she picked up her books off her desk, smiling at the Professor, "Have a nice half-term Professor Fallen!"

Storm dodged Alyssa's spell, and laughed.
"Well done," she smiled. "That almost got me." It was true, as she'd been very close. But when the Professor said the lasson was over, she stopped smiling. It couldn't be over yet, could it? She gave Alyssa a half smile, and added; "Have a nice half-term, I'll see you soon."
She then turned to the Professor, "Bye! Have a nice half-term."
