Let's Get It Started {Invite}

Penny almost shot a look at Lisette but it just looked like a facial twitch of excitement, she replied to her "No Lisette, I am quite capable in a dress... I've spent almost my whole life in them, but thank you for the concern though" she gracefully grabbed his hand and slightly curtsied she was swept up in the moment and she felt like it was only Julian and her.

She swiftly moved close to him resting her hand on his shoulder and pressed her body against his her dress was obedient as usual, she slightly moved her shoes and it ruffled out of the way that Julian would move. She smiled at him and grabbed his other hand gently and elegantly, the music played and she whispered "Happy Birthday Julian, you lead" she giggled and melded like water to Julian's frame. All her dance expertise shot to mind as she prepared herself mentally, still looking perfect and calm.

Alec's eyes widened, "How could he do that? Those bitches."

He looked over at Penny and Julian dancing and felt . . . betrayed? He walked up to them ans sighed.

"Now, now, Penny dear, you're such a young girl, you shouldn't be doing these kind of things. Much too innapropriate for you," he said, pushing the girl away. What was in that drink, again?

Glancing over at Lisette, Julian shook his head at her slightly, "Yes Lisette," He said dryly, resisting the urge to roll his eyes, "I'm so terribly inconsiderate."

"But," He added as Penny took his hand, "She said it herself, she's capable of dancing in a dress." Shrugging, he winked at Lisette before waving at her with his free hand. Returning his gaze to Penny, he returned her smile, allowing her to grasp his other hand as he took the lead, "Thank you dear Penny."

Ah, how fun it was to mess with the Valée's head. Really, that (and the opportunity to get another present) was the only reason he'd even invited her to his party in the first place. He'd almost begun to actually enjoy himself when Blanchard walked over, and pushed Penny away. Tilting his head slightly, Julian smirked at him, pulling out his camera, "And it isn't inappropriate for you, Alec?"

Alec saw Rousseau pull out his camera and grinned, "Oh, you're going to take a picture of me to put beside your bed because you love me too much, are you?" He covered his face with his hands, "No, no, no, we have to take a picture together. Two pretty faces in one picture, how stunning."

"And no, Julian," he answered, "It is not inappropriate for me."

Penny gasped and fixed her hair and dress as she had been rudely pushed out of the way in a high pitched voice she said "How utterly rude of you Alec, to interrupt a dance is highly insulting" she then tilted her head at what he said to him, what was going on? She continued "It is not inappropriate to merely dance with each other" she was getting a little pissed now.... She was having fun and this party atmosphere was getting to her head, she took a deep breath and planned her next moves with precision and executed them accordingly.

She strode forward and with an elegant turn side stepped beside and then around Alec, she swiftly grabbed the camera off Julian and threw it at Alec in an elegant pirouette, the camera landing in the hands near his face. She returned to her previous dance position but with a strong step pulled Julian across a majority of the dance floor. "shall we continue birthday boy?" she said "before we get interrupted again" she continued to dance elegantly and delicately.

Luce gave out a bemused expression over the intriguing scene. She giggled silently, shrugging as she decided to do something else than to go around keeping her eyes on disgusting momentums. She gazed at the crowd, on how separated all of them may be except for the people dancing in the middle. It was sure not her and their small group's thing to be the highlighted flirts. But as a mere fact, the ones situated and circling Julian, were those who weren't even aware of what's going on. Poor thing.

Smirking a bit of her thoughts, Luce went over to a tiny bar by the end of the hall and got herself some wine to drink. Other than that of a ridiculous punch. She sat on the available chairs and watched the party with a bored face.

Resisting the urge to burst out laughing, Julian stepped towards Blanchard as he turned on his camera, "Actually, no. See, I was going to videotape this," Raising his camera, he stopped in front of Blanchard. Taking a deep breath as he felt suddenly nauseous, he gripped Blanchard's tie in his free hand, resting his forehead against his, "Because something tells me that tonight's going to be special, Alec."

Smirking, he stepped away, raising his camera again as he pressed record, "So start talking Alec."

Pouting at Penny, he frowned as she took his camera away, "Hey! What was that for? We can continue," He nodded briskly, pulling away, "After I get my video." Still nodding, he headed back to Blanchard, holding his hand out for his camera.

Lisette watched the two waltz off with her arms crossed, an enraged look on her face. She had never been rejected like that by anyone. How dare he. How dare she. She felt the need to do something violent, but decided that wasn't such a good idea after what she did to Julian.

She watched the short interaction with a satisfied smirk. It serves the girl right for trying to mess with something beautiful, and she thought she was so perfect, but Julian at least had good taste.

Lisette walked past the two boys, not paying much attention to them, "You see?" she said gleefully as she approached Penny, "He doesn't want to dance, at least not with you, so stop trying, dearie."

She laughed, then turned to see Julian's forehead pressed to Alec's.

"What the..." she stood there next to Penny, with her eyes wide, her head tilted, and her mouth hanging open, filled with nothing but confusion.

The wheels in Harm's brain were turning so quickly, a small part of her wandered why steam wasn't pouring out of her ears. Julian had spiked the punch and invited a guy?

And then flirted with him?

"Mon dieu." she murmured.

Jul had the hots for Alec.

Laughing out loud at the thought, the girl quickly recovered and watched the two talk to each other- suddenly the sight of it was far more entertaining- and grinned to herself. Eager to cause a little more mayhem, Harmonie walked (with a noticeable skip in her step) towards Lisette and linked arms with her.

"They look sweet together, don't you think?" she whispered into her ear. "Makes my heart throb."

When Julian pressed his forehead against his, for a moment it was like a light was turned on, it was like his brain started working.

"What the hell, Rousseau?" he yelled, backing off. Alec was lucky he had good reflexes, or that camera would have hit him in the face, as he wasn't prepared for it. Just as fast as that light went on, it turned off. Confused and dizzy, he threw the camera back and it landed on the floor with a crash.

He turned to Julian. He had really nice eyes. . . "I'm feeling dizzy, handsome, let's sit on the couch."

He grabbed him by the pulse and led him to the couch, flopping down on it, tired. "So tell me more about you, Julian," he said, "I feel I don't know you as much as I'd like to."

Raising an eyebrow at Blanchard as he pulled away, he used that opportunity to make his way over to Harmonie and Lisette. He did not want any rumours about his sexuality when they got back to school. Because really, that would just make his life that much more difficult.

Putting an arm around Harmonie, he whispered in her ear, "He crashed my party. And he's going to learn first hand what happens to those who do. Oh the blackmail opportunities," Grinning, he headed back to Blanchard and frowned as the blond threw his camera onto the floor.

Scooping it up, he frowned at him, "Well that wasn't very nice Blanchard. Not nice at all." Checking to make sure it still worked, he sighed softly in relief. There were benefits to using and owning good quality electronics.

Letting Blanchard pull him over to his own couch, he sat down beside him, recording the conversation with the camera in his hands, "What do you want to know, Alec?"

After finishing her drink, Luce stood up from her chair and walked across the room in search of more people to talk with. Well, she'd rather amuse herself than bore it all out. She can't stay idle forever until the party would end. Besides, she's nearly drunk to that maximum level. When can she finally get out?

"Let's take a bet. Those guys shall go way beyond a conversation. What do you think?" She spoke with sarcasm at the two girls who were somewhat whispering to each other and slightly smirked.

''No.. Don't..'' But it was to late and Alec had already tasted the punch. Great she thought grumpy. What will now happen? This is not good. Not good at all. She shook her head and looked around. Alec was now trying to, get with Julian? And the rest looked amused, well some looked angry, jealous.

Athena glanced at the punch, should she drink too? Its scent filled her and she walked closer. ''Seawater..'' She murmured. Her favorite scent. No! What was she thinking, carefully she stepped back. Stupid stupid Julian.

And really, what was he doing? Recording what Alec said to him. How dumb she felt, how could she have believed that he was kind or sweet? He was an arse.

''Harmonie.'' Athena said as the approached her. ''Did you drink from the punch too?'' Because if she didn't at least one soul in this room was its normal self. She looked worried at Harmonie waiting for her answer.

Lisette gaped at the pair a little longer, finally letting out an indignant squeak, "Sweet? What... what do you mea-" She gasped, her mouth hanging open even wider, "NO..."

She glared at Luce, "That's a horrible thing to say. I'm sure that- that-" she frowned, "They're just friends," she said forcefully.

Dani told herself she couldn't be the only one that didn't care about Julian dancing with... well, whoever the boy happened to be. So far, she had been laying low and watching everyone dance with Julian. It was funny - at least it was to Dani - how half the girls seemed to be enamoured with him and find themselves shattered when he seemed to dance with everyone. Maybe that was because the only good thing he had done to her was told her she was pretty, and the only thing it did to her was boost her confidence.

Thank goodness she decided to stay away from the punch, because she knew something was wrong with it. She watched the boy and Julian have a conversation, and she could not help but smirk. She was not going out of her way to be nice in this party, and she agreed with the girl's bet. "This is going to turn out fun," she nodded, walking towards her.

Penny was confused and hurt, Julian seemed so nice but he had so quickly discarded her for, for Alec! She moved over to Lisette and Harmonie saying "Believe me I don't think he wants to just dance with Alec either" she giggled and gently touched Lisette's hair "Such a shame" she walked over and grabbed a chair to sit and watch the scene that was unraveling on the couch.

Her huge dress enveloped her seat as she delicately rested her hands on her lap, she fixed her hair and watched intently, her phone at the ready to take a picture if it went any further. A constant smile plastered on her face.

"Perhaps we'll settle with gay friends. Not so bad. You can find hundreds of them like that around the world, you know." Luce replied with a huge smirk stretched across her face and added, "So who can say how much would be the amount if you dare?"

She glanced at the boys who were now alone in the middle of the room and chuckled, "Let's leave them to have their moment."

Harmonie shivered slightly as Julian's breath tickled her ear, and And as quickly as he came, he left back towards Alec.

The girl froze.

This was not happening. She did not have the hots for Rousseau. No. Not ever.

I won't let this happen. she insisted, praying to God that it had been her imagination. But the still tingling flesh of her shoulder were his arm had touched her said otherwise. Harmonie clenched her jaw together tightly and took a few deep, calming breaths.

Her eyes widened considerably at Athena's question. Was it that obvious already?! She, herself, had only known for two seconds! Suddenly panicky, Harm shifted from foot to foot and laughed.

"The punch? No, no. Of course not!"

Or had she? It would explain...that thing she was feeling. It wasn't love. Definitely not. But attraction, possibly? Grinding her teeth together in frustration, Harmonie narrowed her eyes in Julian's direction accusingly.

"At least I don't think so." she told Athena.

"Oh, everything," Alec answered, "Like. . . hm, what your favourtie colour?"

He felt his head throb and put a hand on his forehead, "Goodness, Julian, what did you put on this punch?" He shook his head and got up, "It's really good, though. I'll get some more, you stay right there!"

Alec got up and walked to the table, and smelled the punch. He was sure there must be at least some alcohol on the punch - and something else, there was something else! . . . but what? - , but he poured himself a bit more, anyway.

Walking back to the couch, he felt dizzy once again, and, disoriented, tripped and fell, hitting his head on the table and falling unconscious.

"Blue," Julian answered instantly, glancing around at the blue colour scheme of the party before returning his gaze back to Alec, his head tilted slightly, "I would've thought that would be pretty easy to guess, Alec."

Smirking, he shrugged nonchalantly, "Oh you know, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, Nothing special." Leaning back against the couch, his eyes glimmered as he waved, "Wouldn't dream of going anywhere."

Watching Blanchard for a moment, he took his eyes off of him to look over at the girls. Nodding in their direction, he quickly snapped his head back to Blanchard at the sound of a crash. Biting his lip to stop himself from bursting out laughing, he sighed, "Really Blanchard? Knocking yourself out kinda defeats the whole purpose of letting you stay."

Sighing again, he stood up, pulling Blanchard up onto the couch with a roll of his eyes. Crossing the floor back to the girls, he frowned, "That was a complete waste of time." Sighing down at his camera, he turned it off, shaking his head, "I would've made him rue the day he crashed my party. I guess not."

Penny gasped as Alec knocked himself out, she watched Julian put him back on the couch so she trotted over to the table of drinks and with a quick thought, she grabbed a cloth ran it under some cold water and returning to Alec placed it on his forehead.

What on Earth? When did she become a medic? She sat next to him and made sure it didn't fall off, this seemed to be second nature, well why fight it?

"Oh, brother. There something else besides the love potion?" Luce muttered as she gazed at Alec who suddenly became unconscious enough. She sighed at the dumbest event ever and walked towards him, sitting on the other side of the couch and mumbling words like stupidity and such. Well, it was true after all, right? She knew she shouldn't have gone to this sort of party. Why didn't she already leave then?

Luce turned her gaze at Alec's sleeping and calm face. Why on earth? Why didn't she notice before that he was somehow really a guy? Except for the fact that she wasn't that day. But as it always had been, she just ignored every speck of this boy playing pranks on her. For no reason. Or was it nothing? Just for her, then? But clearly, she know nothing about what she feels. Maybe she was too spiked by a different kind of potion? Why now?

''Good, Julian poured Amorentia in it.'' She said and rolled her eyes letting her gaze wander over to where he sat. Why would he do it? It wasn't like he couldn't get these girls if he wanted. Surely he could get her, but as always that was not the case. Why would someone want little ugly Athena. Naha. So she lived with having friends, it worked. After all she wasn't more than 15 either way.

Despite the Harmonie's new revelation, she couldn't help but laugh lowly at Alec.

If there's one thing that'll make me feel better, the girl thought, smirking, it's schadenfreude. She rolled her eyes as the other girl flew across the room to the unconscious Blanchard.

"Penny to the rescue." she murmured to herself sarcastically, still irked by the her whole demeanor. Taking a deep, subtle breath as she spotted Julian approaching them. She wasn't an animal. She could control herself.

Sort of.

Harmonie shrugged nonchalantly. "There may be some side effects. Who knows, maybe there will always be a part of him that's in love with you, Rousseau." she drawled.

Had she always been attracted to him? Harmonie frowned deeply, unable to mask her confusion in time. Perhaps? Maybe not.

Alec woke up some minutes later, his head hurting, but feeling perfectly fine despite that. He felt more aware of what was going on, more than he had before falling unconcious. What had happened before. . . ? He couldn't exactly recall it.

He huffed and got up, "What the hell happened?"
