Lynx then inspected the boys jewellry box he was quite impressed the detail was magic well beyond his years, Lynx then placed the jewellry boy back down

"Well... thats quite impressive Mr Ashton you certainly have a skill in this subject" he then turned towards Casey "But you also are quite talented in this class as well Miss Donohoe" Lynx then walked back to the front of the room and stood in front of his desk

"So you have both done quite well, but now we will transfigure them back to their orignial form, to do this you hold your wand firmly and swviel it a couple of times then give it a sharp flick at the jewellry box" Lynx then waited for his students to perform the task

Casey held the chain delicately, dangling the rose right in front of her face to inspect it. "Wow," she breathed. "That's amazing Liam! How on Earth...?" She trailed off into silence, marvelling at it. Suddenly, she snapped out of her reverie. "Here, help me put it on." She gave him the necklace and turned her back toards him, gathering her heavy hair into her hands and pulling it off her neck.

Once more, paying attention to the Professor, she heard him instruct them on how to return their jewellery boxes to mice. Concentrating hard, she repeated the swivel and flick of the wand over her box. It took a couple of tries, but eventually her box turned back into a squeaking white mouse, which began to pet. "I like you better alive," she said to it softly, grinning.

"Thank you Professor" Liam nodded respectfully for the comment.
Smiling Liam placed the locket around her neck. his fingers slightly lingered on the latch but he was pulled from his reverie when the professor demonstrated the reversal cast. Rolling his shoulders Liam rolled his wrist whilst grasping his wand, with a slow in take of breath Liam swiveled his wrist a few times before flicking his wand sharply. Liam grinned softly when the intricate box molded back into the small beige mouse, lifting the small rodent up to eye level, Liam smiled sheepishly at it. "Sorry buddy, but you made an excellent Jewelry box if it's any consolation."

Both of the students manged to successful turn the mice back to their orginal form " Excellent guys well done" Lynx the flicked his wand at the mice they than levitated and floated back into their cage

"Ok so I want an example from both of you when could a transfiguration spell like this be used or proven useful?" he asked the students, he like for them to think of situtations they could use it so that they would use the spell again and not just forget it

Casey raised her hand, but didn't bother to wait for the Professor to call her. "Any time we need a box to put something in, not just jewelery, it would be useful. Also, if you wanted to get rid of a mouse it would be useful. And you could sell the boxes for money if you wanted to."

Liam cracked a grin at Casey and spoke up after her, "if you were trying to hide an object of interest you could change it into the box?" Liam suggested shrugging.

Lynx chuckled at the answers from his students " Yes, yes, very good both excellent and practical answers" Lynx then flipped open the textbooked and flipped through the pages til he found the chapter he was looking for

"Ok, so now I'd like you to pull out your Transfiguration textbooks and turn to page 78 and copy out all the information in bold please"

Casey sighed. Copying text- so not as fun as performing the spells.

Transfiguration of mammals into objects is much harder than Transfiguring invertebrae or other objects, though not as hard as changing an object into a mammal. These complex spells require great concentration and effort. Nothing may be performed incorrectly, or your object will still have animalistic charictaristics.

BORING! she thought. When Professor Miller turned his back, she quickly switched parchments, glancing at the text occasionally to make it look like she was copying it down. So. This is boring. How's life? Mine's rather fine. You see, this cute boy just gave me an amazing necklace and I already love it so much! I think perhaps I'll wear it always. What say you, good sir? This weather is a real downer though. It was perfectly sunny outside. I mean, where's the rain? Very Happy She waited until the Professor was distracted to flick the note at Liam, then went back to innocently copying the text.

In the case of Mures Jocalia, the swivel is essential to a satisfactory jewellery box...

Liam had enchanted his quill to write the text work once the professor turn his back to then. Smiling nonchalantly Liam waited for his quill to finish but was interrupter by a folded piece of parchment being flicked upon his desk. Looking at Casey from the corner of his eye, he saw her writing, so he unfolded the parchment and smiled at what he read. pulling out an extra quill, he wrote back.

'Cute boy? Hmm he sounds like trouble, I'll have to approve of him first, my lady. Wink I'm partial to the weather rain or shine, as long as I'm comfortable, it all fine and dandy with me!' Liam flicked the note back and watched it bump into her hand. Smiling he grabbed his enchanted quill seeing that it had done it's job and stuck it into his back while keeping his normal one out.

Casey had just finished copying the final word when Liam's note bumped her hand. Grinning as she read it, she quickly scribbled a reply.
Oh yes, he's just full of trouble, but I'l soon have him straightened out. He's even a Slytherin! I mean a lion and a snake? Unheard of! You'll have to keep an eye on him. And yeah, I SUPPOSE the sun is ok, but htere's just something about the rain... it just seems like it's washing away everything bad in the world, making it new and clean and pure. Also, it smells amazing. She sent it soaring onto Liam's desk, smiling widely.

Lynx looked down at his watch and realized that the lesson was over he then turned to face the students

"Alright class, that is the end of this lesson, if you haven't finished writing down all the information please make sure you do for homework, so see you next lesson"
