End of the beginning (EVERYONE)

Hades walked in to the great hall not even caring about breakfast. He just needed to show his face before he went back to work. He took his throne like seat placed in the middle of the professors table and watched as his students laughed and joked before him.

Something wasn't right but he just couldn't place his finger on it. He raised his glass of firewhiskey up to his lips his eyes still searching as let his senses do the work.

Still nothing. He leant back in his seat his glass raised in his hand as he rested his elbow on the chair arm.

Emily walked in to the great hall with her nose in a book. She quietly took her seat by the ravenclaw table away from everyone else deep in thought.

Melanie walked into the Great Hall, for some reason this time taking her seat at the Ravenclaw table. Thats a first, she thought to her self and waited for her friends to arrive.

Cobalt yawned a little as he wandered into the Great Hall. He'd not been sleeping right for the last couple of days and it was starting to catch up with him. Rolling his neck to loosen the muscles he went round the side of the Staff table to sit in his seat as Potions Professor. Of course Warren got a chair right next to him because he was a Potions Professor as well.

Looking out over the assembling students, he sighed a little and picked up the goblet in front of him, which had just filled with red wine, and took a drink. Festivities relating to some dead guy nailed to some wood and a giant bunny rabbit, which somehow gave people eggs of chocolate, were not his cup of tea.

Ari entered the hall for breakfast, surprised at the fact that she had managed to get down this early. She smiled at Mel and took her place at the Gryffindor table.

Emily looked up from her book when she saw mel sitting on the other side of the table. She took a seat next to her and said hi.

Briony didn't know why she was bothering to turn up to this thing, she could be sharpening knives or something. Sighing she blanched a little at the smell of food, she hadn't eaten for days now surviving on pepper up alone. Sitting down at get chair next to Hades she smiled lightly at him.

David ran a hand through his hair as he entered the hall and made his way over to sit with the other Professors, though there were few already here. He took his seat, nodding to each of them in acknowledgment.

Charlotte walked into the hall her finished portrait of Richard tucked underneath her arm, it was hidden so no one could see but she was do proud of it. It had taken most of her energy to make. Sitting down at the Slytherin table she waited patiently to see Arsen.

Emily was trying to keep her eyes open because she didn't have a lot of sleep last night. ''Maybe some music will keep me awake'' She thougt. She pulled her muggle-mp3 player from her bag, put it in her ears, and listened to some rock music.

Sam had never really been in the hall before except to mop the floors and tables. He didnt sit in there for breakfasts either becuase he either ate alone elsewhere or he didnt eat at all.

He wondered why Hades had called everyone to the hall or the assembly would even concern Sam at all. If not, he blened into the background well. He could always sneak out quietly.

He hoped it wasnt a dull easter assmebly like he had had to bare in muggle school because he never really cared about the religious holidays, not even christmas. He stood in the back by the doors and watched people sit and talk and drink as they waited. He kept his head down and tried to make himself invisible.

James entered the Great Hall with a yawn, he wasn't really a morning person. He ran his hands through his hair as he made his way to the Ravenclaw table. He saw a few people already seated there and he recognized Melanie. He wondered if he should sit down next to her, he wasn't sure if she wanted to talk to her, not after her cousin had told him she liked that Jace guy. James didn't like thinking about it.

He decided that even though she might like someone else, that didn't mean they couldn't be friends. He made his way over to her and sat down in the empty seat next to her.

"Heya!" he said with a smile, hoping she wouldn't mind him sitting next to her.

Arsen walked into the great hall starving. He looked up to the professors table and frowned. He did not like the look of Hades something clearly wasn't right. "Everything alright Hades?" He thought knowing he would pick up on them as he was most attuned to Arsen thanks to their training.

He turned towards the slytherin table and head straight for Char giving her a quick kiss before taking the seat beside her. "Hey il mio angelo." He smiled taking a piece of toast.

Emily looked up from the table when she heard a rather loud ''heya''. When she looked in the direction it was coming from she realised she never met this person.

''Hello! I'm Emily. We havent met before have we? '' She said.

Allie walked into the Great Hall and sat down at the Hufflepuff table. She pulled out a book, Hogwarts a History, she had been reading and flipped open to page she had recently closed it at.

Achilles recieved the note to attend todays breakfast so made his way straight over. He glanced over all the professors already at the table as he walked over to take his seat. He sat down on Hades left and waited for the announcement to be made his arms resting on the arms of his chair.

Aireon walked in with his hood drawn up. He saw Arsen sitting with Charlotte and decided to give them some space so as not to be a bother. Back to being a shadow. He thought to himself.

Melanie smiled at Emily "Hey, how are you?"
She then looked up as James greeted her. "Oh, hi James," she said and gestured towards the table. "Yeah, have a seat.. How'you been?"

Hayden was bored. She waltzed over to the professor's table, wondering why Hades called her there. She sat down and opened her new book.

Blaire entered the Great Hall with a smile. She was having a good day so far and hoped nothing would ruin it. She took her seat at the professors table, giving each professor already there a nod and a smile.

Joshua walked into the Great Hall and sat at the Gryffindor table. He didn't know any other Gryffindors yet, so he just sat there, deep in thought.

Ajax entered the Great Hall and looked around for the Gryffindor table then sat down and began bending a spoon back and forth.

Aurelie walked into the hall and sat next to Allie. "What's going on?" she asked her friend.

Susannah entered the Great Hall and seperated from her uncle to sit at the Slytherin table. There was food. She wondered exactly why everyone was gathered today. She didn't necessarily have any friends to talk to.

Jake walked into the room and sat down next to Aurelie. "Hey, Bones, what's going on?"
