Transfiguration Lesson Four Third Years

J. J. had gone about the spell quitely enough. She hand calmly went to retrieve her rabit, making a slight cooing noise, and rubbing it behind the ears before setting it down the table and attempting the spell.

After two or three attempts upon which nothing happened, she was rather suprised to find a slipper where her rabbit had once been on her next go at it.

And a little sad too. It seemed like such a crueling thing to turn a living creature into something one put on their feet.

So she was quite happy when the Professor instructed them on how to turn it back again.

Always having a knack for spell, though she was better at Charms than Transfiguration, she focused on the instructions and as always found it much easier to transform the rabit back, than it had been to figure out how to do it in the first place.

"There we are," she smiled rubbing the small creature behind the ears, as it popped back into shape on her second or maybe third try, "Much better to be like this, isn't it?"

Casey laughed and ran after Snowy, helping Alyssa corner him. She picked him up and handed him to her sister, still laughing. "Here you are Lyssa, one Snowy the Rabbit. Don't lose him this time." She scratched the rabbit gently.

Tiana laughed with Alyssa about the state of her rabbit. When the professor returned them to their original state, the repeated the spell and managed the successfully transform it. She smiled a bit, proud, and watched as they were told how to reverse the spell. She practiced the wand movements a few times, making sure the rabbit didn't return with two legs and only one eye. Tiana was confident that she had the it down. She moved the slippers back a bit and reminded herself. "One anticlockwise swish and two sharp flicks" she thought. She did the reversal spell and to her surprise, the rabbit was back. Without anything missing. Except maybe a whisker, but that might have never been there in the first place. "There we go," she grinned, stroking it softly.

Lynx smiled as he watched the students slowly begin to turn their slippers back to rabbits 'Well done everybody, you all seem to have mastered the skill of reversing the spell which of course is highly important, because im sure you all can imagine what kind of trouble you'd get into if you transfigured something then could reverse it"

Lynx then picked up the textbook and flipped through the pages "Alright guys, so I want you to read pages 26,27,28 and 29 and do the exercise questions thank you"
