Charms, Lesson 4 - year 2

Crystal laughed as Thomas was on the floor laughing his head off.

"Yes it was very fair." She said smiling like crazy. She liked to win with people.

Lenora laughed a little. "Okay class amazing job everyone gets 20 points to there house for doing a great job. Are next lesson will be the Flame-Freezing Charm. Can anyone tell me what it does".

"It makes fire instead of burning, it feels like a warm breeze in the summer," Anna replied.

"Good job Annabeth 10 points to Ravenclaw. Today we will learn that charm. Okay i'm going to pick someone to go over to the fire place and use the spell i tell you. Okay i want Crystal to go over to the fire place and say Immobulus. Pronounce it like Imm-o-bul-us." Lenora waited for Crystal to do the charm.

Crystal did as the Professor said and walked over to the fire place and pulled out her wand.

"Immobulus!" she said clearly.

Zayden walked towards Charms Class, looking so abhorrent. She constantly comes in late during classes and wants to get rid of the bad habit but everytime she wakes up early she ends up getting even later. . " Good morning Professor. I extremely apologize for being late again." she said, waiting for Professor Malfoy to assign her to her partner.

Iris looked at the newcomer and smiled at her, "Hey. Zayden right? During Charms earlier? I think you'll be partnered with Anna. But what professor's making us do now is kinda an individual task. I'm still waiting for my turn." she said in her most kind voice.

Zayden turned around to the familiar voice. "Hi-ya, eye. . Oh, I see. . . . Thanks a lot. . HERE, something to show my gratitude.", she beamed, handing Iris a keychain shaped like a puppy. "I hope you like it. So.. who's your partner then?"

"Okay great job Crystal 10 points to Ravenclaw. Every one will do this with there partner. Zayden since you came in late 5 points from Gryffindor and Zayden you will be partnered with Annabeth. Annabeth please tell her what we have to do" Lenora started a small fire for each group. "Now i want you to take turns. Begin all of you" Lenora watched.

Iris widened her eyes with pleasure and hugged Zayden before going back to her partner, "Wow! Thank you! Love it! A puppy with my cat, Vee." She didn't expected it to come from Zayden, a girl she just knew. Walking back to Alexis still with her mouth hung with amazement, she stared at the fire and the thing they're supposed to do struck her instantly and her consciousness, "Immobulus!" said Iris clearly with her wand held at the fire and the keychain at the other.

"Well done, Eye." Sia smiled at her, then said happily, "My turn!"

She cancelled the spell with, "Finite" and tried herself, "Immobulus!"

"Oh," Anna sighed, looking at the Gryffindor that came late. "I'm Anna... I think I've seen you somewhere before... Potions, I think... Now, we have to yell the Immobulus Charm at each other, pretty much... so, uh, you start."

What part of I-Want-To-Work-Alone don't you get, Professor Malfoy? she thought.

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Zayden, by the way. And... Yeah, Potions.", Zayden smiled, gleefully. She then took her position, saying,"(I'm so sorry for this, Anna) You ready?". Slowly, she grabbed her wand and fixed it to Anna. "Immobulus!", she muttered in determination.
