History of magic- Founders of Hogwarts (COMBINED CLASS!)

"Oh," Anna giggled. "It's not that they're unknown, it's just that people like to mix them up for something else. Like Korea is Japan, or Taiwan is China, or Tibet is Nepal... the list is endless. Trust me."

"Hm, you are right there. So, any siblings?" Koehl yawned again and tried to stifle it, but it was no use

"Nope! Only child," Anna grinned. "My parents got divorced when I was five, but I think it's really cool 'cause I get to have two rooms to myself instead of one."

Anna laughed.

Koehl smiled "Same here. I only have one bedroom, but its nice enough." Koehl shrugged.

Anna smiled, "So what's your bedroom at home like? Big, small, frilly, gothic, whatever. Mine is all so cozy - maybe 'cause I have three entire bookshelves of books."

"Its...airy. I have really big windows and gauzy curtains. Wood floors. I have a book shelf, but its only half full. The rest is mainly arts and crafts supplies." Koehl sighed and stared off into space. The talk of her room was making her homesick.

"So, what are your parents like?"

"My mum is amazing!" Anna replied. "She's a naturalist, and she's always telling me about these weird ingredients I've never heard of before. She always sings random songs at the most random of times but I love her."

Anna sighed, thinking about her father. "My Dad works as a Muggle consulate," she stated bluntly. "He's... nice, but I prefer my mother. It's cruel to say that, but it's true."

"A muggle consulate? What is that?" Koehl furrowed her eyebrows questionally. "I love my parents equally, but I prefer to spend time with my father. He likes to play tricks, and he's always got a joke on his tongue. He owns a small art gallery, its amazing. My mother works at the ministry, in the Control of Magical substances department. Shes fun to be around, but a bit to strict for me." Koehl smiled at the thought of the art gallery. So many paintings and sculpters.

"But you know, I state again; I wonder when class will begin...I really want to learn more history." Koehl blushed and poked her text book.

"It's where you apply for a visa to go to other Muggle countries," Anna explained merrily. Unlike Nat, she liked explaining anything Muggle to those who needed it. "A visa is a license or a permit you need to go to other Muggle countries for a certain amount of time."

Anna too poked her textbook. "I agree," she smiled.

"Oh!" Koehl exclaimed. "I kind of understand now. Though, its kind of stupid to have to get a piece of paper just to go into another country." Koehl shook her head. She opened up her text book and flipped through the pages.

"I wonder what todays lesson will be on."

"Me too," Anna replied, her mind swarming with ideas. She then thought about what would all three years would be doing in the same classroom.

"It should be something to do with the History of Hogwarts," she said. "Something..."

"Maybe it'll be something to do on the Goblin wars!" Koehl felt herself getting excited, and then blushed. "I don't really like war, but I like the excitement of the tale..."

"No one likes war," Anna agreed. "Unless they're mental. But everyone likes a bit of excitement."

Koehl smiled. "Exactly! But it'd be even better if it was on the time Hogwarts was new and fresh."

"It has to be!" Anna agreed, smiling in joy. "I mean - the first years won't get what we're talking about if we start rattling on about the 1400s."

"Yush, exactiddily." Koehl giggled and looked up at the ceiling. "You know, it gives you an odd feeling when you look at the stonework, and you realize a student a thousand or so years ago was looking at the same stone."

"I don't think so," Anna replied skeptically. "It could have been slightly different, but all in all, I don't know how Hogwarts managed to stay Hogwarts for a thousand years."

Koehl smiled mysteriously. "Magic my dear friend. That's how Hogwarts stayed the same. Though of course, it probably isn't the exact same stone. But similar."

Anna laughed, "I can't imagine living without magic. It's too... amazing to be let go, don't you think?"

"Yes, it is quite amazing. And I don't even think I can wash dishes by hand anymore!" Koehl chuckled. "Of course, Mum makes me do them manually when she's home. But...dirty wet dishes creep me out."

"I can't wait until we grow up," Anna sighed. "So that we don't have to do them by hand anymore. Just mutter a few Scourgifys and you're done!"

"Exactly!" Koehl smiled. "Though, I don't want to grow up too fast. Bills, and whatnot." Koehl wrinkled her nose. "I mean, who wants to do that. And having to go to work. Though, if you had a fun job it would be that bad." She thumbed through her text book, stopping at a picture of Salazar Slytherin. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"He looks funny."

"I've always wanted to work as a clothes designer," Anna replied. "It's weird, but I like making clothes. Either that, or a Healer. I've always been interested in Healing.

"That's Slytherin," Anna sighed. "Or as I call him, the craziest guy of all time."

Koehl thought for a moment. "I've always been fascinated by animals. I think I might persue the muggle Marine Classifier job. It combines my two favorite things, water, and diving." Koehl laughed lightly. "If that fails, I'd like to open my own shop. Preferably something art related."

Koehl looked down at the picture for a moment again. "You know, I bet Helga Hufflepuff was almost as crazy as Slytherin. Just a different batch of crazy. The kind that makes you laugh."

"Art related?" Anna asked. "That's interesting. I don't really like Art though, but I do respect it. Maybe I will become one of those Muggle writers who travel all over the world to... find themselves or whatever.

"I'm pretty sure we're all crazy. Normal is boooooriiiing," Anna sang delightfully.
