History of magic- Founders of Hogwarts (COMBINED CLASS!)

"Oh," J. J. smiled broadly. She was starting to see how one could love this game. Flying brooms was one the most addicting notions she had come to learn about the wizarding world. She was excited to learn how to work one. "I have a class in flying... though I don't think it has started yet. Is it hard to fly a broom?"

Karma shook her head. "maybe for some, but once you get the knack for it, it's rather easy." Karma stopped and thought. "I'm taking a flying class too, not really cuz I need one, but really because I love flying and you can only get better at these things, you know?"

J. J. nodded and spouted her mother's favourite saying, "Practice makes perfect."
She paused for a moment and looked around the room. They had been joined by one more girl, also older, who was presently reading a book. J. J. wondered briefly if she was going to be the only first year in this class.
Shaking her head she brought herself back to Karma.
"So there's Quidditch, is there any other games, or sports, or activities that they only do in the Wizarding world that I should know about?"

There's Exploding Snap and..." Karma's eyes widened. "Ohmygosh. You've never had Magical Candy, have you?" Karma reached inside her bag and pulled out a wrapped Chocolate Frog. "Let me be the very first to say 'Welcome to the Wizarding World' to you by way of candy." Karma stopped and thought.

"You better be careful, they hop off when you open them."

J. J. accepted the candy with a smile.
"Thank you," she looked down, and saw the chocolate frogs she remembered seeing on the train, and the same worry came to her, "They aren't..." she paused a moment, blushing, feeling silly, "It isn't a real frog is it?"

Karma wrinkled her nose. "No! Its chocolate shaped like a frog and charmed to act like one. Sheesh. We aren't all barbarians who eat live frogs." She lowered her voice conspiritually. "That's only the Gryffindors." She nodded a few times, as if this made it true, spun in her seat and leaned back so her back was against the desk.

J. J. smiled hesitantly. She felt like she probably should be making fun of the other houses, or at least condoning it, but what the heck. Besides the way Karma said it made it kind of funny, and the girl was allowed to do what she wished after all.
"Alright."
Slowly, mindful of Karma's warning, J. J. peeled back the wrapper.
However, she wasn't mindful enough, and the frog hopped a good way across the desk, making J. J. dive noisily to get it. She blushed looking down at the room, and then at the frog in her hand.
It did seem to be only chocolate.
Shrugging she took a huge bite of it.
"This is delicious. Thank you," she mumbled with her mouthful, and then blushed thinking of what her mother would say if she could see her. Once she was done, she looked down at the wrapper and noticed a card with a face in it. She held it up for Karma to see, "What's this?"

Karma took the card from her. "It's a Chocolate Frog Card. They have world famous wizards and witches on them." She looked at the card. "And what do you know? You got ol' Salazar." Salazar Slytherin grimaced at them from the front of the card. She flipped it over. "On the back they have interesting facts and important things they've done for wizard-kind."

She looked over the card and read a section aloud. "It is rumored that Slytherin hid a monster in Hogwarts Castle to purify it of all of non-worthy blood." Karma looked at JJ then back at the card. "Not to worry, though. Harry Potter destroyed the monster in his second year." Karma continued reading. "As co-founder of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Salazar was an oppurtune young man, but he didn't get along well with Godric Gryffindor." Karma nodded at the card.

"That's where the House Rivalry started. Here, I have ten of him." She pulled out her own chocolate frog and deftly unwrapped it before grabbing it firmly in one hand and biting the head off so it stopped squirming. "It's more humane this way." Karma said after a huge gulp.

J. J. looked at the card, and the man grimacing up at her. He didn't look like much of a fun guy... though as her Mother would say, don't judge a book by its cover.
She skimmed the information on the back again soaking it up. She was eager to learn anything to do with magic. That was why she had taken this class.
Speaking of which, she looked around the classroom, again.
"When is this class supposed to start?" she asked, "Haven't we been waiting a while?"

Karma shrugged. "There's only four of us here." Karma said. "With a combined class, there should be about four times the amount." She looked at her watch. "There's still a few minutes before class starts, and I bet the rest of the students get here before then. We got here pretty early." Karma gulped down the rest of her frog and glanced at the card befor laughing. "Whaddu you know? Must've been fate." Karma held out the Helga Hufflepuff card to JJ, smiling. "Two Founders in one day? You must be a good luck charm, Firstie."

Genevieve walked into her History of Magic class calmly noticing that there were not many people arrived yet only two Gryffindor's what looked to be a fellow first year though in Hufflepuff and a Slytherin who appeared to be a third year at her best guess.
"Hello Professor" she greeted as she walked further into the room and took a seat in the row in front of the Hufflepuff and Slytherin and pulled out some parchment and a quill.
"My name is Genevieve De Luca. And you are?" Genevieve introduced herself to the students behind her turning around in her seat.

"I'm Karma." Karma said, pulling another chocolate frog out of her bag. "You want a Chocolate Frog?"

J. J. blushed and looked at the card Karma held out to her, "Maybe I am."
A new girl, a slytherin who looked to be in her own year - J. J. was glad for that. She had been nervous about being the youngest one in the class - came and sat down in front of them, introducing herself.
"Hi, I'm J. J."

Karma handed another chocolate frog from her bag to JJ and took out another for herself. She glanced into her bag's magically expanded Candy pocket and was relieved to see it was still relatively full. It made her smile. You could never have too much candy. She raised her voice. "Would you like a chocolate frog, Professor Downie?"

Tobi arrived to HoM class not really looking forward to it. With him being shy with girls this class was a nightmare since he was the only guy who who signed up. He liked History thought and it was a class so he would certainly tough it out. He came in and took a seat in the back and just sat quietly since all the girls were talking and he didn't want to yell over the girls to say Hi to the Professor

Karma looked at the back of the classroom where the boy had just entered. A hufflepuff. "Hey huffle? Wanna Chocolate Frog?" She tossed one at him, whether he wanted one or not. She bit the head off the one she had unwrapped and gobbled it in lightning speed. She pulled out the card. "Dumbledore." She said, handing it to her firstie.

Tobi looked up when he heard the girl yell at him just in time to catch the Chocolate Frog she threw at him. "Ummm thanks I guess," he said. He wasn't very hungry so he put the frog in his bag for later.

J. J took both the chocolate frog, and the Dumbledore card that Karma offered to her. She liked looking at this one much more. Dumbledore, had a kind amused face. She scaned the back, once again absorbing the information.
A boy, one she assumed to be a year or so older, walked into the classroom and seated himself in the back of the room. Karma offered him a chocolate frog, and then gave it to him without really giving him an option.
J. J. turned around and smiled. He seemed sort of the shy sort. Being shy herself she knew how that felt, and after spending a good chunk of time in conversation with Karma she felt more bold than usual.
She gave him a small wave, and called back, "Hullo there."

Karma raised an eyebrow at her firstie's newly found bravery. She smiled as she realized she was already rubbing off on JJ. She nodded in approval before bringing out a box of Every Flavored Beans and taking a daring handful and popping it into her mouth. She tasted grass, mint, mold, and earwax, among other things. She repressed the urge to gag and swallowed the whole bunch.

J. J. noticed Karma pull a box, out and dump a handful of what looked like Jelly Beans into her mouth.
"What are those?" She didn't think something as normal as Jelly Beans would show up in a wizarding world.
And judging from Karma's slight grimance she wondered how good they could actually taste.

"Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans. I recon I actually got a real flavor this time." Karma shook a few into her hand and carefully selected one that was solid colored. It looked relitively safe, but you could never tell. She handed it to JJ as if it were a volitile bomb. "You never know what you'll get. I mean, there's chocolate and mint and sruff like that, but there's also grass and mold and every other thing you can think of. I think I even got a dirt flavored one, and a fried chicken flavored one."

"Every flavour?"
J. J. knew that they couldn't have just been Jelly Beans.
Slowly, she took the candy from Karma. She looked at it, inspecting it from every angle. Her pulse started to rise. This suddenly seemed like a big risk.
"Well," she said holding the bean up like a shot glass, "here goes nothing."
Then she shoved it in her mouth as fast as a shot, and chewed slowly. With relief, she realized that a not unpleasant taste filled her mouth.
"Toffee," she mumbled still chewing, "I think."
She swallowed and smiled, feeling like she had just dodged a bullet.

Karma nodded, shoved the rest of the beans into her mouth and was immensley grateful she'd given JJ the only non corrupt bean. The rest of them tasted like the stuff nightmares are made of. She gagged one down and did it again.

Scarlet ran towards the room with sweat trickling down her forehead. Why won't the staircases stop?

She faced the whole class, wondering if she's in the right room. She hopes she is, otherwise she'd have to encounter those bloody staircases again.

She bowed towards the professor as a greeting ans went towards an empty seat.

Alessa ran towards the classroom. Uh oh, she thought. Am I late?

She bowed towards the professor hastily and smiled after, scanning the room. She found Karma, hence she immediately went and sat beside her. "Hey," she said, waving slightly. She faced the Hufflepuff beside her friend and offered her hand. My friends' friend is considered mine, after all. "I'm Alessa. Alessa Romano. Nice to meet you."
